Under the heat dome

We've gone from rainy, gray weather to unrelenting heat and humidity. I don't know what's worse but I can breathe when it's rainy and gray. It was a big basketball weekend in Indy but both our teams lost. I am so proud of our Pacers. They had a terrific season and I feel so bad for Haliburton and his injury.

I'm sharing one of my new pattern papers today with lots more to come. This is from Unity and a simple thinking of you card for a wonderful fellow crafter who had an operation recently. I didn't want to cover up those beautiful flowers so this is very simple. I cut two strips of orange c/s and added them to each side of the paper and stamped the sentiment on another strip of the orange c/s.

I'm so glad I met all of you at this stage of my life.  There is no way my mom would have let me play with you guys growing up!

This is week four at I.D.E.A.S. and anything goes so I'm sending this card there.

Be kind to one another.

Oooh, that is a paper worthy of fondling, Brenda, and I can see why you had to have it! You let it be the star of the show with your perfect borders and sediment flag. Thank you for using this week's I.D.E.A.S. Calendar and linking in the gallery to motivate others! 📌Yes, it was a sad bb weekend for Indiana, not to mention hot and muggy. I hope it cools off soon. Hugs, Darnell
