Owl be watching you on Halloween

Not me, the owl will be.

I sponged the background after masking off the moon, then stamped the Lavania tree stamp. Added a bit of gray ink the give the moon some definition. I masked off two of three owls on a DeNami stamp and stamped that little owl. After coloring him I cut him out and added him to the tree limb. I also colored and cut out the two pumpkins and glued them at the bottom of the tree. To finish off the card I found some tiny gems to add to the owls eyes and added the panel to a black card base.

I'm always disappointed when a liar's pants don't catch on fire.

Be kind to one another.

That's a fun Halloween card with the bigger pumpkins and the owl sitting in the tree. It looks cute and spooky at the same time. If pants caught fire every time someone lied, we'd have a massive wild fire in DC wouldn't we? LOL

That sponging and your coloring of the pumpkins are amazing, Brenda! I love the owl design - as in whole design, lol! And Carol said it so well about the liars' pants on fire. In fact, nowadays, it would give new meaning to Scorched Earth!! Hugs, Darnell
