It went wrong from the start. I cut two images with white cardstock. Glued one on the acetate and got glue everywhere. Then I glued the second image to the first so I would have groves to add the glue. The frame was so thin that was another chance to get more glue everywhere I missed the first time. Now to the glitter. That wasn't hard but there was a new issue. People with COPD cough sometimes out of nowhere with no warning. When you have glue in one hand and glitter in the other, you don't want to cough. Do you see where this is going? Yep, I coughed and glitter went everywhere. There is still some left on the acetate that I couldn't get off. That's where this card ends. I added it the GO7 so you could see things don't always go smoothly when making cards. Now I remember why I don't use glitter.
If a plant is sad do other plants photosympathise with it?

I feel your pain ... glitter is messy to work with and having unexpected coughing can make it worse. In the end, your card is lovely. I bet the sparkle is so pretty Brenda. So happy you gave this a go, my friend. xx
I can just see all of that happening to you (or me!) with the glitter and glue everywhere - good for you for posting your efforts - it is a sweet card with the simple tulip and pretty green background! Julia xx

LOL! I know it's frustrating, but you always have a way of turning it around to be fun anyway! I'm with you about glitter and surprised myself that I didn't make more of a mess. No ceiling fan on and I didn't have to cough or sneeze. If you look close though you can see glue and glitter where it's not supposed to be on my cards too. XOXO

I do like your card, the simplicity of the design. I really don't mean to laugh but I can just see me doing the same thing. Your experience is why I don't do glitter unless it is a glitter paper.
Oh Brenda, feel your pain, your card is still beautiful, love glitter myself, glitter glue is easier. I use stickles glitter glue. x
I tend to shy away from glitter too because it can make a huge mess. Clearly you recalled that reason when you started this card, but in spite of the oops moments, it turned out to be a great card anyway. I'm glad you stayed with it and beat the odds in the end with a very pretty resulting card.
You really should be a writer, my friend! I know it wasn't funny when it happened, but you have such a good sense of humor and the ability not to let things that really don't matter get to you. We can all take a lesson. I do love the sweet tulip diecut. Glue showing actually bothers me more than the mess with glitter, so I stay away from acetate.

I did this technique ages ago and there is no FOMO (fear of missing out) from me. Your card is wonderful and deserved to be seen after what happened. 😉.
