I've started my Halloween cards and made this one using an older embossing folder on black cardstock. I used Distress Foundry Wax over the embossing and added a gold embossed the sentiment on black cardstock. I like the soft look the wax gives and a subtle shine.
As a kid my bedtime was nine pm. I couldn't wait to grow up and go to bed whenever I wanted. Turns out that is nine pm!

This is such a pretty embossed card and I've never even heard of distress foundry wax before but it really gives this a beautiful subtle shimmer! Yep, 9 PM works for me these days too LOL

I haven't bought or tried any foundry wax yet. I might have to now I've seen the great effect you achieved with it. Love your joke today - it is so true - between 9:30 and 10:00 is my ideal bedtime now!

Oh what a pretty card, Brenda! I have that folder and was just thinking I need to use it. Guess I'm going to have to get some foundry wax. I keep seeing it used and love the look!

Great card. Don’t know what foundry wax is, but it is quite effective on black cardstock.
