Cornhole fun

Thankfully it is not mold under the sink.  The water seeped under the flooring so that has to be replaced too. They hung a heavy plastic curtain across the kitchen and left five power blowers for two days to dry it out. The sound was deafening! Daisy was not a fan! The blowers are gone as well as the curtain now. The kitchen is still in disarray. I'm waiting for the construction people to come and take measurements and put me on the schedule for rebuilding the cabinet. Then the flooring company will come with samples and take measurements and put me on the schedule. We are moving along in the process.

My card today is for a guy who loves cornhole. If you don't know it, it is a game using small bags filled with rice or sand and tossed from a distance to the opposite board in order to get the bag through the hole. It started as a backyard game and has evolved into tournaments on TV. These are actually stickers because that is the only thing I could find that depicted cornhole. I used brushes to add in sky and grass and added a sun. I think he'll like it even though it is so simple.

I'm on my third guardian angel. My first one quit and my second one is in therapy.

Be kind to one another.

First of all, your cornhole card is a hoot, Brenda! The recipient is going to love how personalized this is for him! Second, it seems like ages since you first told us about the garbage disposal leaking. What a nightmare for you, my friend. I'm glad the worst is over and I hope the rebuild goes smoothly. Then I hope you have no more drama for a very long time so you and your angels can have a break! Huge hugs, Darnell

This is the perfect card for someone who loves cornhole!!! I recently played cornhole while visiting my family in PA, and we had a blast! I confess my first toss landed on the jungle gym---nowhere in the vicinity of the hole on the board---hahaha! Hang in there with everything you've been dealing with recently! One step at a time. Hugs!

As usual your guardian angel on-liner brought a laugh. But I am not envying you with the chaos you are going through in your kitchen. Sounds like a mess to live with. Glad you still have your humor though. Never played the cornhole game, but I guess it is pretty popular maybe sort of like horseshoes back in the old days??? Here's hoping May is better for you and you get on the schedules of the builders sooner rather than later. Oh, cute card, although ALL your cards you make are cute, pretty or funny, you do a great job on them all.

What a fun card! We used to call this bean bag toss when we were kids and it's fun to play. Being a home owner comes with these crisis moments, but hopefully you are on the way to having a nice dry kitchen once again soon! At least you have 3 angels in your corner! LOL

Well, I learned something new today - I've never heard of cornhole! Very cute card for a fan of the game! I'm glad to hear the loud fans are gone from your kitchen - I remember the endless roar of them from when my basement flooded last year. Hopefully the repairs will be done soon!

Yeah, those commercial drying fans are loud, but sure gets the job done. Glad your kitchen re-construction is coming along.
Your card is simple and cute. Great sentiment.

I'm way behind and just catching up with the past week. Sorry to hear there is more for you to deal with. Sounds as though the getting the scheduling done for the repairs means you are headed in the right direction. You've probably heard from both on that by now. Life always throws us curves and you handle them so well, my friend.

LOVE your cornhole card for your friend. And they will love it too. So special customize a card that they will really love. Great work!! Love, Lolly
