I added a torn panel to the bottom of the tree paper and enhanced it with glitter drops in aquatic frost Nuvo Drops. The second card is a piece of cardstock torn in half and used at the top and bottom of the panel. I used a stencil by Lavinia called Feather Leaf in green ink between the two torn papers. Using a Tim Holtz Alterations Bigz die Tattered Florals I cut the flower three times, stacked them and inked a bit with brown ink around the centers. The center is filled with The Robin's Nest embellishments. Both cards have Penny Black sentiments.

Two lovely cards created using two of the torn edge techniques Brenda! The beautiful white trees are so pretty with the glitter slope edges and green snowy sky and what a great sentiment! And your stenciled strip accents your layered yellow bloom nicely - with another great bday sentiment! Hope you had a lovely Christmas! Julia xx
Your snowy trees are so pretty against the softly coloured sky, Brenda. Your snowhills are a great way to use torn edge and they look very special with the lovely shimmer of frost on top. Your flower is so pretty over top of the torn-edge strip with stenciling. Great way to add depth to the card without adding lots of layers. xx
Two great cards Brenda, such a perfect snowy winter scene with the torn edge snow and love your stenciling on the second xx
Beautiful designer trees paper for your sky, Brenda. Love how you added the shimmery frost to the sky and then the torn edge snowbanks. Wonderful birthday sentiment too. Your torn edge stenciling on your 2nd card is the perfect background for beautifully layered die cut flower and an incredlblerer sentiment! TFS my friend. Happy Creative New Year...Love and Hugs..Nancy
That's a great technique you used on both cards. The snowy trees look dreamy with the frosty sparkle to ground them and the pretty yellow flower looks like an early touch of spring. Now if I could just pronounce that sentiment correctly! LOL Have a very happy new year in 2024.
Love your two torn edge cards, Brenda. Great use of two different torn edge techniques! Beautiful glitter to enhance the torn edge on the first one and wonderful stencilling inside the edges on the second.
Lovely cards Brenda. Happy New Year!
I love the torn snowdrifts with this pretty paper, Brenda! And your stenciling between the torn edges makes a perfect place for this bright and happy flower! Love both sentiments too! Happy New Year, my dear friend!
Pretty cards. I especially love the colors and calmness or the winter scene. Your big flower gives us hope of the spring to come.
Two lovely cards using the torn paper technique, Brenda! Great use of the Nuvo drops and pretty scene with the trees on the first card! Lovely stenciling on the second card with pretty flower, too! Wishing you a New Year with good health and happiness! Take care, hugs!!
One for spring and one for winter . . . a lovely pair of cards using torn edge techniques.
Happy New Year to you xxx
Wonderful set of cards! My favourite is the first winter scene one… so peaceful and serene.
Terrific use of the torn papers, Brenda! I absolutely love the first card! Your snowbanks look amazing with Nuvo drops on the edges!
