Whata week

I'm sorry I haven't been around this week but the week took over my time. It was extremely busy and way out of my comfort zone to be out every single day. Several times during the week required naps since I was worn out. I'm getting back to my normal routine today.

I am ahead of all the birthdays this year for September and October. This has never happened before so I am happy. This is the card I made for my grandson who is into fly fishing. These are Stampscapes stamps. The panel is sponged and the guy is colored with Copics a bit to make him stand out.

You're the "she" to my nanigans.

Be kind to one another.

Haha, and you're the "she" to mine! You have the best variety of stamps, Brenda! How cool that you had this scene to create a card for your grandson! Awesome coloring! I'm jealous that you are so far ahead with your birthdays. I really need to put that next on my long list. Actually, I'd love to get them done through November, so then I can concentrate on Christmas, she whispers. I hope you have an easy stay-home week this week. Hugs, Darnell

Great card for your grandson. I am sure he would love this. Such an awesome scene. That's where my son is this weekend, fly fishing all by himself and probably loving it. Glad you are back to a more normal routine that doesn't tire you out so much. There is an update on the triplets if you have time to check it out. Have a good week my friend and take it easy.

So pretty and love that scene. Makes me wish I could go fishing....I guess I'll just have to keep all my memories of that though. Perfect card for a guy (or gal too)!

This is just beautiful with those sponged colors and great design - sure to be enjoyed by your DGS. I too find that if I have to go somewhere each day, I require naps to recover where I never ever took naps before. Getting old is fun, eh? LOL

Hi Brenda,
this is such a wonderful card and your inking of that wonderful sky and fishing lake is gorgeous.
The fisherman looks so brilliant and chilled with his fishing line.
Lots of crafty love and hugs from my house to yours. Jenny L.

This is an awesome stamp for a fly fisherman, Brenda! Coloring the fisherman in was a great idea because he does stand out and I'm sure your grandson will appreciate that there's a fish headed for his line!
