Happy Fourth of July

I make this card every year because it is made from a napkin. It came in a package of so many and I don't send 4th cards so I do one every year to wish my blog friends happy 4th. After you see it today put it completely out of your mind so it will be new next year. Cheating, huh.

Let the experts do the fireworks and be safe. I learned my lesson about going out last year when I drove home from my son's after watching a concert. Everyone was shooting off fireworks and they came over my car all the way home. I felt like I was under attack. I didn't have Daisy then so I could go out. I can't leave her now because she gets so scared. We can just sit at the window and see them all over my neighborhood.

Be kind to one another.

What wonderful napkins, Brenda! So perfect for a patriotic card! You don't need to worry about me remembering! LOL, what goes in usually gets lost! I hope you and Daisy have a relaxing evening. We'll be watching the fireworks on tv.

Happy 4th!! A beautiful napkin that makes for the perfect patriotic card!! We watched the fireworks last night. We are lucky that our Sheila is not afraid of fireworks, but she is afraid of the emergency broadcast alarm that comes over the TV. Take care and have and have a great week, hugs!!

Hopefully as I write this, the fireworks are coming to an end and poor Daisy can settle down so you both can get some sleep. As for your brilliant 4th of July card, thank you! I don't remember ever seeing it before!๐Ÿงจ Hugs, Darnell

Happy 4th Brenda! I don't remember this card, so it is new to me again! lol I love it, it is so festive and so patriotic! I love anything patriotic! Yikes, I bet that was no fun last year, I would have felt like I was under attack too. We are lucky in that the fireworks doesn't effect our dogs to much. If one is really close they might snuggle up around me, but that is about it. Poor Daisy, I feel for her as so many dogs are so scared of loud noises like that. I hope Daisy was able to feel secure in the house with you Brenda and that it wasn't to noisy in your neighborhood. Give Daisy a little hug from all of us. Hugs, Brenda

I hope your July 4th celebration was quiet and relaxing for both you and Daisy! That's a lovely card created from a napkin! I've read that dogs feel safer under weighted blankets during such occasions. Hopefully Daisy got through it OK and you both have a great week ahead!

What a beautiful napkin & perfect for a card! We were so fortunate this year--very few neighborhood fireworks! None of the big ones were close, so Fritz just got a little anxious & then laid down on hubby's lap. Wish every year would be like this! We enjoyed watching the concerts & fireworks on TV. I do miss the days of seeing them in person, but have good memories.
