Happy Halloween

It's a frosty start to Halloween this morning. We don't get trick or treaters in my neighborhood and I miss seeing the little ones all dressed up. Covid has changed so much this year and some of the little ones are disappointed not to get to go door to door.

This is my last Halloween card. I only made them for the grands and family this year. It's my favorite season but I couldn't get excited this year and only made easy quick cards. This one uses the Simon Says Stamp gnome, a die cut pumpkin in pattern paper and a crow from Little B. The bale of straw is paper I've had in my stash for a long time and still have one more 12 x 12 sheet. I used a pumpkin embossing folder for the background and added a few orange gems.  Don't eat all the leftover candy at once!

Be kind to one another.

I hadn't thought to use this gnome for Halloween and need to remember that for next year! Love the paper that looks just like hay and the embossing! The pumpkin and crow finish this off perfectly! Happy Halloween!

It's been fun seeing all your Halloween cards for your grand kids.

Thought of you, knowing you love Halloween. Unfortunately, didn't get a card sent, but wish you a happy weekend, Brenda! This card is fabulous--so fun!

I haven't jumped on the gnome fad yet, but yours is really cute. I only do Halloween for grandkids too. Mine are in Chicago and Houston so I finished them a few weeks ago so there was time to ship a box. I try to include some candy and treats.

A wonderful Halloween card. We don’t get trick or treaters either anymore. No little kids in our neighborhood.

Oh, I do love gnomes! I’m trying to hold back and not buy it, lol! Your card is so cute! Wonderful embossed background! Cute pumpkin and crow, too!

And another wonderful Halloween card using pattern paper to wrap up. Sweet card.

Gnomes are adorable, but I’m actually confused with their popularity. I did cave last week and bought my first gnome stamp set. Who knows, that could be the start of a new obsession. 😂 ha, ha.

Indeed it is everything different this year. I hope the old times will be back someday. But until then we have our hobby. :-) You've created super nice halloween card. I like the simple scene with all important elements for halloween. Super use of patterned paper too.
Take care! Hugs, Sonja

This is such a fun Halloween card, and perfect with the little gnome and pumpkin! I love how the crow is perched on the pumpkin - what a festive look for the occasion!

I know what you mean Brenda, it's been the same way for me. I just don't have it in me right now. It's been a crazy year, crazy weather and crazy people! I don't get trick or treaters either and I miss seeing them as well. I usually go to Dwayne's cousin's to see them, but didn't this year. A lot areas across the country still had trick or treating which surprised me. And some just decided to do it anyway, again which surprised me. Shouldn't though, only a few people standing in line at their polling places had masks on. Bret and I had ours on, I said to Bret and we wonder why the numbers are going up again. He was like, right?! I am loving your sweet card, that gnome always kills me as I think he is just too cute! You have made a super cute scene with him. I have some of the straw paper too. Use some of it in my "farming" scrapbooking for the farm photo's. Hugs, Brenda
