A sparkly snowflake

Despite the clean and very concise explanation I had with Molly Saturday night about the time change she still got up at 6:20 am Sunday morning. I clearly explained it would be an hour earlier and she didn't need to get up so early but it fell on deaf ears. Sunday seemed like it went on forever. I was in bed at 10:30 and read until 11:15 and we got up this morning at 6:20. It is like having an alarm clock that doesn't buzz. I'm not a big fan of getting up that early since I retired but having never worked, Molly doesn't care.

This is another card I made at the retreat using Colleen's technique of scribbling Copic markers in ombre colors, then using Nuvo glitter paste over the top of it. The colors look darker in person and I borrowed the snowflake die.

Be kind to one another.

I understand about the time change. Rambo doesn't understand it either - and I've tried and tried to explain to him.
Love your pretty card! That single snowflake is beautiful.

It's so fun to say that I've seen that snowflake up close and personal! It is beautiful, and such a fun technique to remember! Oh Molly, that's not cool!

Tika and Dylan weren't listening about the time change either.
Love this crisp CAS snowflake design :)

You've turned the clock back to winter time one week later than we did. I'm already stabilized until now. :-)
It is amazing effect you've achieved with glitter paste. Fabulous Christmas CAS!
Have a great day,
Sonja

This is a lovely CAS card with that gorgeous sparkly snowflake done in soft blue! Gorgeous! My internal clock works like your Molly - it doesn't care what the clock says LOL

A beautiful CAS design....so sparkly and lovely with the ombre colors. I'm with Molly. My body is all out of sync too with the time change. I am tired when I should be awake and wanting to fix meals when it is not the right time. I hate this and it usually takes a week to get me back on track.

So pretty and CAStastic.
With any luck our government here will scrap the time change next year.

Our three dogs didn't get it either with the time change. I told them as well to stay sleeping until 7 but no, they were up before 6 too. :-( This is stunning Brenda! I loved it when Darnell showed her's and I love yours as well. I can't wait to try this technique as well. Love, love, love! Hugs, Brenda

I'm sorry Molly isn't understanding about Daylight Savings Time, Brenda. Do you think they had DST back in Pavlov's day? I wonder if that's why he started doing the bell thing, you know? If we taught our dogs that it's time to eat when we ring a bell then they would key on that and not their tummies! Your card is beautiful! Snowflakes really look stunning with this technique!! Miss you! Hugs, Darnell

This was one of my favorite cards at the retreat & I still love it & need to recreate it! Oh you're so funny--enjoyed reading your first paragraph, Brenda! Fritz has almost always gotten up once during the night & then he will stay in bed until we're up, so I'm dopey all the time--haha!

This sparkly snowflake is so pretty, Brenda! I love the soft blue color! Hopefully Molly will get the hang of the new times. It's hard to adjust.

Fabulous card, it turned out beautiful and especially with the simple sentiment! I sure hop0e by now Molly understand and has her standard time back on track. I hate waking up early too...especially if it is an alarm that wakes me!! Heart Hugs my friend, hope all is well!

That’s pretty. I’m guessing that you die cut the snowflake aperture out and then put over the top of the sparkly colouring. Looks very classy. I don’t do early mornings either so I feel for you. Hugs Mrs A.
