I want to thank you all for the support you offered during my break from crafting. It means a lot to me and really has helped me through this bleak period. I hope to get some cards made this weekend. Next week I will be at the hospital four days! Two for rehab, one for the group by the American Lung Association and once for the weekly meeting. I feel rehab is helping and I look forward to going. This week I have exercises to do at home. So, it is still time consuming but I am feeling more energy and my outlook is better.

This is a card we made at the last SU class. I like the colors she chose and the design is new to me. She does try to do different things and has a technique class every month where we try different techniques or get tips. It is such a nice group of ladies and I enjoy it so much. Be kind to one another.

Unusual design & so pretty! I like the color combo, too! I've never done anything with Stampin Up, but sounds nice to have something to look forward to each month. I sure miss not having a stamp store--used to take classes & sometimes give them & it was such fun. I'm trying to make Easter cards--needed to start earlier, of course--haha! Thinking of you, Brenda, & hoping you continue to improve with the rehab. Hugs, Greta

Brenda, I just perused your blog going back a ways...dear friend, I am glad today that I get to read you are finally feeling like joining the world! I am so sorry that you have to do so much work just to breath! But from today's post it sounds like it is paying off and that warms my heart! I can't imagine you in a funk because you are so vivacious and energetic! Not to mention you always have a happy demeanor and look for the positive! I totally get after a while it is just work, not fun! Now, this card you made is super fantastic. Love the colors and yes that design is very unique and cool! I am glad that you have a group that you go to make cards, it gets you out of the house and lifts your spirit! Take care my friend and know that I pray for you! Heart Hugs! Col

Nice card....your SU classes sound like fun, always fun to learn new techniques. Gosh if I didn't live so far, I would go with you to your SU classes. I do attend a stamping class, but not SU classes. Glad to hear your breathing is getting better. Keep going!!!

It's a lovely class card and bet you had fun making it. I like the design layout very much. So pleased to hear the therapy is helping and that YOU can feel it is. It's much easier to keep on going if you feel you are getting results. When you feel better, your outlook is better too, so it's a win-win all round. Stay warm while you are out as I expect you are still getting some cold & drearies. Hang in there, and I hope you continue to feel better & better! Hugs & TFS

Glad to hear that your health is improving Brenda, this card is lovely, I've only ever made rectangular cards, but this style looks amazing. Take care, Cathy x

So glad you are feeling a little better, keep up the good work and be kind to yourself. Your crafting will return when you feel better, and at least you have your lovely class to keep you going. I too hold SU classes, and they love it that they just turn up and I provide everything, so they get some "therapy" and "me" time. It's hard when your time is taken up so much with trying to feel better, but it'll be worth it. Take care xxx

I'm happy to hear that you are doing better. It has been a journey to get to this point, hasn't it? They say getting older is your "Golden Years" but in my experience it hasn't been fun. I'm hoping that will improve for both of us in the future. I'm praying for you, dear friend. Your card is lovely. I particularly like the design and the pretty colors. Take care!

This card type is the Joy Fold card Brenda, and was so popular a few years back. I always loved this type but haven't made one in a while. Need to again Love how your card came out and I love the colors. So happy that you are getting more energy with rehab. Yes, it is a huge commitment but so worth it in the end!!! Hugs Brenda
