Granddaughter Lauren is out of surgery, back home and everything went well. She did not like the IV put in her arm but otherwise said she was asleep so she was happy. She was hungry when she woke up since not eating the day before!

I wanted to go ahead and share another card made with SFL kit.  The tree paper, sequins and Happy Holidays were in the kit. I added glitter to the Impression Obsession die cut trees and matted on vellum. Very simple and easy. Having things that co-ordinate makes things so easy. Be kind to one another.

Sue of http://suescardcraft.blogspot.com/ reminded me I could play at merry monday christmas challenge with this color combo. Thanks, Sue.

I would like to welcome Sylvia of http://sylviadepooh.blogspot.com/ as a new follower. I visited her blog and I love the sympathy card she posted on November 9th. Maybe you could pop in and see her.

I had the lunch that was postponed with my granddaughter yesterday. She is so much better and we are glad since she has knee surgery Thursday.  She was diagnosed last year with a knee sprain. She wore a brace and went to PT for a long time. The knee has been bothering her all this time and when she went back to Dr. it was found to have a break. I don't know the details but they are going to fix it for her.  She is also the one whose car was totalled last week! This was her second car. Her first one drowned when it was at a repair shop and the rain flooded the property it was parked on. She can't catch a break!  Well, actually she did, it was in her knee. Thank you for all the get well wishes sent her way.

Today's card is another one from Scrapping for Less  (SFL). This darling little otter was a stamp set included. The background paper looked somewhat like water to me and I matted him on vellum so it would show through. I colored him with Copics and the ribbon is from my stash.  Be kind to one another.

I did not venture out yesterday on Black Friday. I did, however, do some shopping online so I am pleased to have that done. We had a nice time on Thursday but one of my granddaughters is very sick so she wasn't able to come and her mom stayed home with her. So we were two short but my grandson brought his girlfriend so it was nice to have her with us.

I want to share two cards I've made with my first Scrapping For Less card kit. I love the papers in this kit and on these two cards I reversed the two pattern papers. On one I used the checked strip from the top of the sheet in the middle and on the other for the center strip I used the gold tape included. I added red Stickles that were also included in the kit. The sentiments are ephemerma in the kit. Be kind to one another.

As you can tell from my post yesterday, I have a lot to be thankful for so before I mosey into the kitchen to start our feast I wanted to wish all my US friends a wonderful, Happy Thanksgiving. I never dreamed when I started my blog I would "meet" so many wonderful people. I say it every year, but cardmakers are the greatest people ever. I truly value all the friendships I've made in this blogger world and hope to continue meeting many more. For my friends in places all over the world, I wish you a wonderful, happy, crafting day.

Wow, Thanksgiving is upon us and I'm ready. Our family has so much to be thankful for and it came home to us again yesterday . My granddaughters boyfriend had just dropped her off at home and was taking her car back to campus. He was on the interstate when an 18 wheeler lost a tire that came right through his windshield on the passengers side.  I'm so thankful he was not injured and that my granddaughter wasn't in the car with him.  He was shaken up pretty bad and the car is totalled. You see that on the news and never think it could happen to you or yours. So I thank God for being with him in the car.

This is the second card I shamelessly CASE'd and it was from Dawn Griffith
at https://dawnsstampingthoughts.net/. The image on the front is stamped in Versamark with a Stampin Up stamp called Night in Bethlehem and sponged over with soft suede ink by Stampin Up. The inside was done the same. So easy and it came out so pretty. There was no need to change anything about her card. Be kind to one another.

I have CASE'd two cards recently.  One is by Susan Itell at https://simplestampin.com/. She said she saw it in Houston and CASE'd it. I loved the clean, simple look of it. The blooms are Botanical Builders Framelits and this is so easy. I added some red bling to the centers and that was it. I can't find the other person I CASE'd from so I will try to find her today and post that card when I do. Be kind to one another.

I wanted to make a tag for the tagyoureit challenge. This was another perfect stamping day with heavy rain and a wind advisory for high winds. The only problem is the darkness. It was hard to get a good picture because it's so overcast and dark.

I used a black tag, Lawn Fawn wreath die cut from silver glitter paper DCWV and added red Stickles to the wreath. Silver ribbon is from my stash.

The second tag is a snowman and banner along the bottom from Scrapping For Less Kit. I added a Lawn Fawn hill with Stickles for snow. The tree is Impression Obesstion tree cut from DCWV green glitter paper.

The third tag is stamped with Memento ink and a Stampin Up stamp and sentiment. The star is gold embossing powder on white cardstock and die cut with Memory Box Star of Wonder small die.

I don't ususally make tags but I am pleased with these. Be kind to one another.

Isn't it funny how our minds work? I saw the word Sharp this week for the casology challenge. I thought of all things that are sharp and knew I didn't have anything that would work for that.  I woke up night before last and thought knitting needles are sharp! It took me a while to find that stamp but I knew I had it so I made a card for the challenge. For some reason my Copic ink ran a bit when I was coloring. That doesn't usually happen. The knitting stamp is Lockhart and the sentiment is The Cats Pajamas.  Be kind to one another.

I've got one more fall card to share. This is a Lawn Fawn stamp and papers. It seems to the first hint that fall is here when the pumpkin spice products come out! I just layered the papers and colored with Copics. I hope you are enjoying your pumpkin lattes too. Be kind to one another.

We have a grungy, gray and to be rainy day here. In other words, a perfect stamping day. I have finally started my Christmas cards. This may be the earliest I have ever started them. I sometimes struggle with challenges trying to decide what to make. This last week has surprised me by having a stamp pop into my mind when I see a word or sketch. That is so NOT me that I have to enter when it slaps me in the face like that. Today I am sharing a card for http://casology.blogspot.com/ with Tiny as the word. I had gotten out all my Christmas stamps and here is this cute little stamp from Your Next Stamp that I wanted to use. I colored him with Copics and added Distress Ink over the sentiment.  He has Glossy Accents on his nose and black Enamel Accents on his eyes. Be kind to one another.

Semper Fi. Always Faithful. Today is the Marine Corp. birthday and my hubby was a Marine so we always knew what today was.  Thank you to all who served in our Armed Forces for today and Veteran's Day tomorrow.

I found another challenge I would like to enter. It is http://fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.com/ and the theme is Grateful. My stamp says Thankful but that is the same to me as being grateful. I followed the sketch for the challenge. Be kind to one another.

I would like to welcome a new follower to my blog this morning. She is Judy of http://judyscardcorner.blogspot.com and I hope you can visit her blog and say hi.  She is a design team member for CASology and on her blog Tuesday she had stunning pictures of the Northern Lights and the Milky Way seen from Iceland!

I'm sharing a card today made from a stamp I borrowed. I have returned it but I think it was a Stampendous cling stamp and I don't know it's name. I embossed it in white e/p and brayered on Distress Ink in three fall colors. The leaf is a die from Poppy Stamps called Majestic Maple and is also sponged with DI and the greeting is Lawn Fawn. I used a sponge brayer on the background and I love it. It is small so it's much easier to use for me than a larger rubber one. It gets into small places and it so lightweight. I love it when I find a new product that is so easy to work with, does the job well and is inexpensive. Be kind to one another.

What a weather day we had here yesterday. Wind, the hardest rain I've ever seen and tornado warnings across the state with a few touchdowns. Thankfully we only had the wind and rain but that was enough. No injuries in the touchdowns. My heart goes out to the people of the Texas church shooting.

I wanted to enter a card for the http://inspiredbyallthelittlethings.blogspot.com/ challenge today. My friend Colleen of http://onesmileliftsaspirit.blogspot.com/ is the guest designer picked by Darnell so I couldn't wait to play. I love the colors of black, white and red. I used Memory Box dies Classic Staircase and Star of Wonder. The sentiment is Lawn Fawn and the stockings are from a monthly kit, Scrapping For Less. I added WOS to the red star for a bit of shine.  Be kind to one another.

Here is the inspiration picture - and here is my card.

I wanted to get a card in today for the CASology Challenge this week. The word is List and I only have one stamp I thought would qualify so I wanted to enter.  It is a Stampin Up stamp and I added two punched hearts from Lawn Fawn and covered them with Glossy Accents. Darnell is the guest designer this week and she made a cute card for our inspiration, along with the other ladies too. Be kind to one another.

I wonder if you can identify what the first picture is I've posted today? It was an unfortunate accident I had in my craft room!

I'm finally getting into making  fall cards and hope I get them mailed before winter sets in. I'm not sure I will recognize winter when it gets here since our weather has been up and down for so long.  This is a card we made at SU class. Great fall colors and easy peasy. Be kind to one another.

In case you don't know what that is or have had that happen, it is washi tape in the dogs water bowl!
