The rain and cold is back again. Hard to believe it is May by how it feels outside. I did work in the garage yesterday and got so much done but you couldn't tell if you just peeked in. Baby steps between the rain and wind. Should warm up this afternoon.

This is a card I sent to one of my wonderful blogging friends. I'm so happy to be sending birthday rather than sympathy cards but there has be a combination of both. This is an Altenew stamp and inspired by my shower curtain. It was colored with Copics. I wish I had the dies because I fussy cut both flowers and leaves. Many dies leave a white border and I'd rather have the image trimmed along the ink line. Unfortunately, my hands can't cut that well because of arthritis so I try to ink up the edges after I cut.  The happy birthday is Simon Says Stamp. Be kind to one another.

Very pretty card. Your fussy cutting is excellent. The flower is very similar to your shower curtain. The weather has been the same here. We had a brilliant day on Sunday out in the garden. Yesterday was dull and overcast but it was quilt club so it didn't matter being in the church hall. Today started out dull and quite cold . I had the dentist to visit and it was good to be in his nice warm waiting room. This afternoon has warmed up and is sunny enough to have a very late lunch sat out in the garden. It is supposed to be hot and sunny tomorrow. Take care. Hugs Mrs A.

Oh this is lovely Brenda! Wonderful design and such beautiful colours as well. Your fussy cutting is perfect - I've given in and do buy dies with the white ring now but for ages I resisted so can see where you're coming from!

You have done a great job with the fussy cutting, Brenda! Your card has a lovely vintage feel about it, and blue and brown is a great combination. I hope the weather has warmed up a bit for you. We have lovely sunshine in the UK today, but I think it's going to change to thundery showers tomorrow or Friday which won't be a bad thing as we had such a dry April and it's being said we may be heading for a drought in southern England!

Fantastic job capturing the floral design of the curtains. I really like those colors too! I think your fussy cutting is great. I have issues lots of times myself with my hands not working right. I am glad you mastered it for this card though as it is beautiful!

I know Brenda, I can't believe it is May either! Back to the cold, raw rainy days. Unbelievable! But we can't change it. Sounds like you are getting lots done! What a beautiful shower curtain and I can see why you were inspired by it. I love, love, love your card! I have this stamp stamp set and never thought to do white flowers stamped in a kraft color or to do the leaves in a kraft color! I so love it!!!! I will have to CASE this card my friend as I think it is so rich and beautiful looking. Stay warm! Hugs, Brenda

I love those flowers in the neutral colour, especially against the blue.

Look at you designing a card from your stunning shower curtain! What a great designer you are, Brenda! Your card is a beautiful CASE, but I can't believe you did all that fussy-cutting! Good job keeping up with the garage. I hope it has warmed up for you so the purging will be more pleasant!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo
