It's starting to warm up again so it should be a pretty day. I get to have both of my younger grands today and for overnight. I haven't had them both together for a while so we will have a good time. Todays card is a boo boo but I hope you can't tell. Either way the stamp set is new so I am posting it at Darnell's IT'S HERE! April 1-11, 2017. It is a Simon Says set and I wanted to try watercoloring. I stamped the Cross in versamark and embossed it in clear powder. Then I watercolored over it. I was pleased with the watercolor but the Cross hardly showed up for some reason. I've seen people do this and it looked fine. That was the boo boo. I used the Misti and lined up the Cross again over the first one and inked with versamark and embossed with white powder.  Now it looks somewhat better and you can see it. The sentiment is from Stampin Up. I also made two others and had to redo both of them as well.  Be kind to one another.

They all are so beautiful and I love those colors you added to make the cross pop. And, if there was a boo boo, I certainly cannot tell.

Beautiful cards. Awe....there's never booboos that can't be saved. The receiver doesn't know it's a booboo, so carry on.

You've made really beautiful swoops of sunrise watercoloring, Brenda, perfect for the cross on Easter morning! I think the first way might have been cool in a ghostly unusual way, but I'm glad you went back over them because the white e/p is beautiful! Have fun with your girlie sleep-over!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo

Oh this is lovely! I'm so glad you were able to line up the pretty image and re-versamark over it, cause that background is just wonderful. It's a great watercolor design for that background, and CAS to let the cross shine. Also love the color choices on that background. Hope the overnight grands & you had such fun. Good they could do that & ya'll spend time together. TFS & Hugs
