Boy I wish I had enjoyed Spring more those three days it was here. I thought it would be longer! Now it is 43 degrees and the wind has been blowing hard again. Ick.

Here is another card from class. I know the picture isn't very good but the front is acetate and in order to have enough light to take the pix and keep the reflection off the card I had to get close. This is my practice card and I can't wait to make a really nice one. The colors I used for the balloon aren't bright enough and I smeared the white ink at the very last while putting on the frame but this is a great way to make a card. The balloons are stamped on charcoal cardstock and colored with pencils. Then the balloons are stamped on acetate with white Staz On and layered over the cardstock. Then you just add a frame. I loved this class. Be kind to one another.

Sounds like something I can do! What a great card design, Brenda! So sorry you're back to winter, but hopefully not for too long!

Love the wordy balloons. they look greeat to me. I signed up for this class but need to visit it when I feel better. This flu virus has really taken it toll on me. I feel so weak and mojo has deserted like a rat leaving a sinking ship! On the plus side out weather has been nice the last few days. Hugs Mrs A.

Not much of a spring here either Brenda. All after 12 straight days of rain, I thought we would get 2 nice days in a row, but today is very cloudy. Going to try and mow though and hopefully the rain will hold off. Rain for the rest of the week as well. sigh Love the card, even if it is a practice one, it turned out great! So cool the way you did it. I wouldn't have thought to stamp on the acetate and layer over the balloons. Love it! You are learning a lot from this class. Hugs, Brenda

This is another lovely piece of homework. I can bet the white inking on the acetate is tricky. It was using Black Staz-on too. This looks pretty good to my eyes! Sorry you've gone back to winter. We had heat, then a couple of cool days, but it was quite comfortable after some hot days. TFS
