All the family was with us Thursday night and hubby talked and talked. I was so very happy the grandchildren got to talk to him. Our oldest grandson was just devasted. He had the closest relationship with his grandpa as he was the oldest and we were able to spend so much time with him when he was young. We couldn't understand everything he said but some things came through loud and clear and we would laugh. Friday hubby slept all day.

First picture is our oldest grandddaughter with him, then oldest son on Wed. night and a picture I was able to get of him smiling Thursday. Be kind to one another.

You have such a lovely family, Brenda. No matter what, your big handsome husband knows that he is and has been very loved and none of us can ask for a greater legacy than that. You can see it in your son and in your granddaughter. You and Bill did a wonderful job raising your sons, who are continuing to do the same with their's. I hope these days continue to be satisfying, as much as they are difficult. It was wonderful talking with you and Brian. You remain in my thoughts and prayers, my friend. (When I'm not busy sharpening my axe and revving the motor on my bike!) Huge hugs, Darnell

Brenda, I am just getting around to catching up...I was at a Women of Faith conference all day Saturday, it was wonderful. Have you ever been? They are changing and going with something new...all the original ladies from the last 20 years were here in Portland. Oh how they love the Lord and inspire and encourage and give hope! And that is what I want to send to you...Your family is beautiful and I know you are treasuring every single moment with your husband. Please know that you are being sheltered in prayers and love. Continue to count your blessings!! God Bless!
