Thank you all so very, very much for your comments. Each one made me cry. I'm so thankful to have such caring friends who are looking out for me.

Turns out I am very sick! I have a severe case of bronchitis that just won't quit. The Dr.'s office said they have seen a lot of this. I got a Depo shot in the office. A SHOT! I can't remember the last time I got a shot because of sickness in the Dr.'s office. I think I was six. I also have Levaquin and Prednisone to take and go back in six weeks. I had bloodwork and breathing test and walked on the treadmill. I would have liked to have a chest xray but the machine was out of order. I should have said I wasn't ready to walk on the treadmill as I got so light headed and it took a long time for me to settle down. I've had Levaquin before and had hallucinations so I'm going to take it at night. Then I drug myself through Jo Ann's and bought (of all things) two paper pads! Like I needed paper. You can tell I feel better already. But in all due respect the Dr.'s office is right down the street from Jo Ann's and 20 minutes away from my house so it was silly not to go. They could always call an ambulance.

I have a call in to a home healthcare place to see about having someone come to our house and bathe and dress hubby and do some light housekeeping. I think they have a 3 hour minimum and I was wanting someone to come at least 3 times a week but not for 3 hours each time. That would be the ideal situation for the time being if we can work it out. When I feel better I think I can go ahead and take care of DH for a while. The being sick has been the hardest part because I just couldn't get my breath.

My son came down yesterday and brought my camera home. We met at Starbucks and had a nice visit. That was so nice of him and he didn't even know I need the camera to blog! I'm sharing a darling card today that I received for Easter from a sweet blogging friend. I love those bunnies and she added the teeniest pearls for the eyes. Again, thanks to all of you. You are terrific friends and so uplifting. Be kind to everyone else like you are to me.

Hi Brenda, sorry to hear you are so ill! In a way it is good that the Dr. has found a cause that can be treated, so hopefully you will start to feel better soon. I hope too that you can get some assistance to help with your daily routines, it can help to make a big difference to how you're feeling. Thinking of you :) Cathy x

Hope you are feeling much better by now. It's tough to have all the responsibilities you are under just now, and be so sick yourself. I'm glad you got the dr. fast though. Your sweet Easter card is darling. Love the adorable bunnies against those pretty striped banners. Such a nice CAS design. TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs

I can imagine it's a relief just knowing what's wrong with you and having a course of action, so I'm pleased that you are now on meds. I hope you don't hallucinate this time. I've had that happen and it's not cool.

I hope your home health care idea works for you, Brenda, rather than a nursing home. I certainly see the common sense in that considering how horribly expensive it is, plus I understand that you want to delay that happening for as long as possible. Sending you lots of tender hugs and prayers! You are such an inspiration to me. Love, Darnell

Well you certainly haven't lost your sense of humor, Brenda! You did make me chuckle & you're right--they could have called the ambulance if needed--LOL! We have a neat program called Oregon Project Independence, but Indiana may not have something like this: http://www.oregon.gov/dhs/spwpd/pages/ltc/inhome.aspx#opi Take care of yourself.

Happy to hear that you have been to the doctor and are getting the medicine you need. It's hard to take care of someone else when you don't feel well yourself. Hope with the help you will be getting, you will have some time to rest. Thoughts and prayers! Hugs!

Sorry to hear you're so I'll but hopefully the meds are taking effect now and you're beginning to feel better. The home care sounds like a good idea if you can arrange it . Sending hugs - make sure you take care of yourself too.

You say that YOU cried at the support?! I'm in tears here Brenda too. First of all because of what Darnell said before about so many friends inside your computer (how true is that then!!) and then to read that you've been dragging yourself round trying to cope when you're actually very sick yourself. It's good that you're now on meds - if the hallucinations include Johnnie Depp can I please come for a sleepover?

On a serious note my dear friend, please know that you're very much loved and cared about by us all. And here's hoping the home care set-up works out OK. One step at a time chick!

Much love

Oh Brenda, my heart goes out to you. I sure pray that you are on the mend and feeling better. Having some help with your dear husband will probably help you get well faster. I hope the meds side effects are minimal. You deserve a break. Take care and don't over-do. Thinking of you in thought and prayer. hugs, Vickie

Oh Brenda, you were sick!! Yes, bronchitis has been bad this year for some reason, I think it is because of the pollen. I'm so happy you are feeling better. I would love to see someone come in and bath and dress hubby for you, that would be perfect and would give you a much needed break. Even though you feel better now, it is still a lot on your plate my friend. So if you can get some help, please take it. I also hope that the meds don't give you those side effects, taking it at night is might be a good idea. big hugs, Brenda
