This was all typed up and it disappeared. We lucked out and only got ice first, then a couple of inches of snow. Not to bad and certainly not 6-10 inches. It's still very cold but suppose to warm up soon.

My SIL and I got to attend the Heirloom Rubber Stamp Show on Saturday. There were only 21 vendor booths but we saw quite a few new companies that have not been here before so that was nice. We saw some new techniques demonstrated and did a few make and takes. We ran into several of the gals that had worked at Archiver's and my friend who is opening her new store March 22nd. We also saw a gal we had taken a class from several years ago. She is going to teach at the new store too.

Ever since our neighbor down the street died, that was hubby's friend, his house has been on the market. We went out to eat Saturday night (since I was at Heirloom and didn't feel like cooking) and a couple came in that were our neighbors where we lived for 25 years previously. They were telling us they just sold their house and were moving. When I asked where they were going, she mentioned our addition. Oh my gosh, they are buying the house down the street! Isn't that a hoot! We were all so excited. What are the chances of that happening. There is only one house between us so that is very cool. They should be here by the end of this month.

I may have caused some confusion when I posted my birthday card the other day. My birthday is in October (please feel free to send gifts and money). It took me a while to post that card and I am posting my other one today. I am very sensitive about offending anyone and that is not my intention . My family has a weird sense of humor so we send so weird cards. The one the other day and this one today made me laugh out loud and I hope it does you too. The front of this one made me laugh. The inside just says happy birthday.  Be kind to one another.

Oh, my goodness, Brenda, I don't know where to start. I haven't been around and I had a LOT of wonderful reading to catch up on. If you are keeping track, you can put me down for LOVING your punny and a bit naughty cards! I laughed at them all from the yoga to the duck to the mother of time, lol!!

We're fine in California as far as I know. A few places that always flood at the least heavy rain are flooding again, but for the most part, we are all loving these much-needed moisture. And we've had a day or two break in between the storms so things are gorgeous and it soaks in a bit.

Now for where you are - sigh - I do wish you could catch a break. I talked to my sisters in Iowa last night and it was going to be in the minus numbers again. I can't even imagine that cold. Which reminds me, I hope you aren't coming down with anything!

I'm so sorry your post disappeared. That happened to me so I know how frustrating it can be. I now hit save every paragraph. I'm also sorry to hear that you weren't able to upload your card over at Hazel's. Did you ask her for help? Have you talked to anyone about it? If you want, I can call you and try and walk you through it. Just let me know. Hugs, Darnell

I cannot believe your neighbors and old friends are moving I to your husband departed friends house. Well yes I can because the fire chief that lived behind us for 22 years moved 4 houses up the street from us .CRAZY and he did not know we moved here . I am so happy for you( shhh hope you get along shhhhh)

Whew, I'm glad I didn't miss your birthday. Hope a card will suffice (I did note your suggestions however!). Your previous card was hilarious and I laughed real large over it. Wasn't atall offensive. Just bloomin' cute. As is this one. So happy to hear you have an 'old-new' neighbor that will be congenial with you. Sounds to me as though this is a 'meant to be' type of thing. You folks will have such fun, I think. So happy you got to enjoy Heirloom and have a new fun store opening soon. You can get your 'craft fix' again. So glad the weather was not as bad as expected. It's cold in SC too, but nothing like your stuff. TFS & Hugs. Stay warm

Glad you didn't get the expected amount of snowfall. We had a sunny day for the first time in weeks and I managed to get out in the garden all day digging to my hearts content. It really is a small world isn't it when you get coincides like that. I was on holiday in Italy one time and out in the street when I suddenly heard a cooee Mrs A. and it was a girl I had worked with years ago on holiday too.!! hugs Mrs A.

Oh Brenda I am so glad you didn't get hit real hard with this last storm. It was nice to luck out wasn't it?! We got a little ice first too, then just a little snow. I am glad that you got out to the stamp convention with your friend, and what a hoot that your friend is coming back to the neighborhood! Funny how that works at times but so nice. I think this card is just to funny and it sure didn't offend me. I love humor, how ever it comes. lol Hugs

Wow--how amazing you're going to be neighbors again! I haven't gone to the Heirloom show in quite a few years since it got so small. I hoped it might improve with Scrapfest now gone. Glad you enjoyed it, anyway.

Sounds like you were meant to go to that show to have all those great catch ups! Also to be too tired to cook dinner so you could go out and have another catch up! Your story made me smile, so did this cheeky card, Cathy x

What wonderful news that you will be neighbors again with your ex-neighbors!! I'll bet you still have the warm fuzzies over that little tidbit :). Another funny card--thanks for the chuckle!!
