Here is my card that I don't like in the yellow. The other card is one of my attempts. I got the embossing powder all over the card and didn't get enough where it's suppose to be. I did that card 3 times and I'm done with that technique. I couldn't get the yellow card to go right side up. When one thing goes wrong, it all seems to go wrong. Have a great day.

Sounds like one of those days Brenda, I know them well. lol Your yellow card is pretty cool. I like that round mesh stamp and the birthday sentiment fits in there so well. That doily looks like it was an undertaking, try inking your stamp again, and placing the paper on top of the stamp with another scrap paper on top and rub your hands on it. Then lift off and place your embossing powder on it and heat. Might be easier that way. I hope you day picked up this afternoon and you had a good evening. Hugs
I actually like your yellow card quite a lot!! It looks really modern and cool. I bet it would make a great (and well-received) cards for one of your teen grandsons. Clean and simple and masculine! Those kinds of cards can be so hard to do!!
There both cool cards. Will have to view side ways though as I have done my neck in and can only look to the front. Hugs Mrs A.
Brenda, Love the yellow one a lot. On the lace doily, maybe your EP was not "Fine detail" but regular????I've had this same thing happen. If it is a very detailed stamp, as this doily was, sometimes Fine Detail EP will do better. (I keep Ranger Clear fine detail on hand in a Tupperware container..also black & Queen's gold). But that is a really pretty stamp, and at least you are doing the homework! (Moi has not ...just watching the videos & downloading the PDF's)! Hugs & TFS. I think you did better than YOU think you did!!! LOL
