I'd have been here sooner but I had to do laundry. I hate when those household things take over my stamping and blogging time. I think the plan should be - wear your clothes everyday until they fall apart, then get something else out of the closet, wear it till it falls apart and so on until closet is empty. No laundry to do and then you get to get a whole new wardrobe.
Please say hello to a new follower of mine - another Brenda whose craft space is amazing. Her blog is http://friendscraftinwithfriends.blogspot.com/. I kept seeing her name on blogs and I'm happy to "meet" her.
I had not finished my card yesterday with my new embossing folder. It is going to a neighbor so I don't have to mail it. I decided it needed something else so I added a top border. Maybe it's too much but it's glued down now. I think she'll like it. It is her first V day without her hubby so I just wanted to give her a little something.
Hope everyone in the path of this current snow and ice storm stay in and stay safe. Good grief will this end soon! We are looking at more snow this weekend since it is warming up but I don't think it will be a lot. My oldest grandson is coming home for the weekend. I don't know how these college students do it walking to class in these below zero temps. Maybe it doesn't bother them like it does older folks like me.
Went to grandson's basketball game last night and got home around 7:45. Hubby goes to bed at 6:30 every night so he was in a hurry to get ready for bed. This is how he came in to say goodnight. When he takes things off they come off inside out and then he puts them on like that. It cracked me up and I said we have to have a picture of this! Notice the pocket liners on the outside.

Nope, didn't think your border was too much at all. It's very pretty & dresses up that lovely EF a lot. It's very kind of you to think of your friend, and she is going to love this. Enjoyed the pic of DH...he's a cutie. And as he says, "What difference does it make?" I'm with him on that one! I like his sweats. That's what we're wearing this winter. Well I usually do, but DH likes his jeans. They take up more room in the washer. So I like the sweats. Glad you got to enjoy the game with your grand, and got home safely. TFS & Hugs
I'm with you on your plan for laundry, Brenda!!! And such a sweet photo of your hubby :) I hope you're planning to give him a big Valentine hug and kiss today!!!
You've created another pretty Valentine with your new embossing folder!! It's so cheery and sweet. I'm sure you're neighbor will love it, and how wonderful of you to think of her on this day. I *know* she'll appreciate that above all else!!!
Stay warm!! Happy Valentine's Day!
Such a sweet card with wonderful embossing too! The picture of your hubby is hilarious! I love the pockets on the outside! LOL TFS
I don't mind doing the laundry it's the hanging everything out that I don't like - especially when it can't go outside. I won't have a drier so it just get draped round the house! Your husband could well set a new trend there! Hugs, Vicky x
Oops - forgot to say that I love your pretty card and the thought behind it too. Vicky x
We did enjoy the beautiful card very much. Thanks for thinking of us. Hope your Sunday is going well. I'm playing 'catch -up' again. Far, far behind. Hugs
I think I like your laundry plan Brenda! lol I like doing laundry in the summer but hate it in the winter. It's not like I hang out in the winter. lol I guess laundry in the summer gives me the excuse to be outside where I love to be. I love, love your card. The heart border is great, love that heart shaped doily and that cute image is perfect. I had to laugh about the pic of hubby as I know plenty of men around here who put all their clothes inside out. And when I wash them that's how they get folded too!! Just doing laundry cuts into our crafty time, so I'm not wasting time on turning their clothes too. lol Now what time does your hubby get up if he is in bed by 6:30? Hugs, Brenda
Super cute Valentine!
Oh, Brenda, I'm glad I checked backwards so I could see this fun photo of your hubby! He's a very handsome dude and a good sport!! BTW, I LOVE your idea of wearing clothes until they wear out, etc.! Genius!! I also loved the sweet Valentine you made for your widowed neighbor. You are so thoughtful! Hugs, Darnell
