I didn't accomplish much yesterday. Watched football and made a card for my girlfriend for Halloween. Caught up with my sons on the phone and made a pizza for dinner. How's that for chillin' out! Some days are just like that. That is one of the things I like about retirement, no set schedule and no rushing around. My favorite thing though is not getting up to an alarm clock. When I look back, I realize most of my life was arranged by the alarm clock. First it was school, then work, then getting the kids up for school, then work. Sleeping in is now by dawns early light. Early in spring and summer and as it gets light later in fall and winter we sleep a little later. Be kind.

Ah...I see you got two pictures up...you must have figured out how to do it. Good for you. Yes, retirement is mighty fine....I always hated that alarm clock, it sort of ran my life!!! :)

I am glad you can take things easy now you are retired-our working lives are indeed ruled by the alarm clock :(

Another grand Halloween card. That DPaper looks familiar. I believe I have some of that too! I hear you about the alarm clock. I sleep as late as I want (unless appts get scheduled by the early bird who lives here too)..It's lovely to wake up early, realize you can snooze a bit longer if you choose. Or not! TFS a delightful card. Hugs

My sentiments eactly. Didn't realise how much my life was ruled by time until it was my own at last. The thought of having to get up for work fills me with horror or how I ever managed it in the first place for 40 odd yrs. Hugs Mrs a.
