My SIL called at 8:30 Tues. am and said she wasn't going to see the aunt because she had to do something with her daughter. We will reschedule for a later date. I'm somewhat relieved but we will still go. Yesterday we trekked down to Nashville again since they finally called her and said her stamps were in. I only got one thing out of a visit to both stamp stores! It is, new to me, a stamp set by Stampendous! and is by Laurel Busch. It is, of all things, cats! It caught my eye the last time we were there and I didn't get it, so this time I caved. She was a great designer and used copics so beautifully. Had a great lunch and a most beautiful day in the 70's.
Todays card is a Simon Says stencil and sponged with Distress Oxide Inks. I added sequins to the flower centers and the sentiment is Lawn Fawn. I cut a oval with a SB die in pink cardstock and mounted it over the stenciled egg. Be kind to one another.

. It is a Simon Says set and I wanted to try watercoloring. I stamped the Cross in versamark and embossed it in clear powder. Then I watercolored over it. I was pleased with the watercolor but the Cross hardly showed up for some reason. I've seen people do this and it looked fine. That was the boo boo. I used the Misti and lined up the Cross again over the first one and inked with versamark and embossed with white powder. Now it looks somewhat better and you can see it. The sentiment is from Stampin Up. I also made two others and had to redo both of them as well. Be kind to one another.
