Late, but here

This is not the post I wanted to share but need to update you on where I've been - again. I went to my sons for Thanksgiving and all but two of us are sick. I got sick on Saturday after the holiday and so did my son, grandson, his two children, my granddaughter and her boyfriend too. Of course, it is in my lungs and I can't believe another attack so soon. This one really brought me down just when I was feeling so much better and getting things done. The coughing is really brutal.

I have several Christmas cards made but I'm feeling not so excited about how many more to do and afraid it may not happen. It takes so much energy to just wash, dress and fix a meal.

That's why today I want to share the card I was going to share on Thanksgiving to thank you all for being the wonderful friends I've made online. I'm so grateful for all of you that comment, visit and lift me up so much lately.

I'm terrified of elevators and I'm taking steps to avoid them.

Be kind to one another.

Hi Brenda, sorry to hear you are unwell again, I know how much coughing can take it out of you, I had flu one year on top of copd and asthma, I ended up having two weeks off work, my chest was so sore from coughing... a beautiful card and love the soft green on the leaves. Have a restful week... Megan

Brenda I'm so sorry to hear you have been ill and it has affected your chest again. Forget the Christmas cards, just take the rest and get better ♥
Canada has a postal strike to no cards from me this year, at least next year I should have lots :)

How awful for you Brenda, just as you were feeling better too. You are more important than sending cards. I’m sending healing thoughts across the “pond”, you made us smile again despite feeling so ill, you’re a treasure xxx

Your card is just so pretty with all of those wonderful colors of autumn and pretty leaves and it's perfect for Thanksgiving - even if it's shared after that holiday. I'm sorry so many of you got sick and you're currently not well after just recovering from sa previous setback. Get all the rest you need to get well again and take good care.

Just not fair! Hope you're better each day and gain your strength. Don't worry about Christmas cards. Friends and family love you and totally understand. This is a really lovely card, Brenda! You could make Valentines when you feel up to it. I never get more than a couple of those made, it seems. Sending warm hugs and a pat on the head for Daisy, Greta
