If you can believe this, this is another health thingy so you can skip this next paragraph.
I think all in all we are just having a bad month. Sat. hubby mentioned he was in pain. He wouldn't go to the ER and I couldn't get him in to Dr. until Tues. Dr. took one look and said we needed to get to a urologist. Dr. called and they couldn't see him until Wed. so our Dr. sent us the the ER. ER Dr. wanted to admit him and keep him on a continuous IV of antibotics for several days. Hubby would NOT stay and was very vocal about it. They sent us home with oral antibotics. We went to urologist Wed. am. He, too, said he should be in hospital but since he wouldn't we are to stay on antibiotics and come back Mon. am. He has cellulitis of the scrotum and it has spread to the groin. He is miserable and in pain. I have been watching for fever, chills, and the skin to turn black. I'm scared to death but so far he is holding his own. If he is no better Mon. I think the Dr. will send him to hospital. I have POA and will take it with me. They will have to sedate him to keep him and I hope they will. I have started my drops in my right eye today and go for my appt. this afternoon. Also going to my reg. 6 month appt. with GP that I had to cancel when hubby went to ER with chest pains. I'm running out of steam mentally and physically. I feel like I'm writing a novel here and haven't figured out the ending. On a bright note, I took Molly for her weigh in yesterday and she is down to 41 pounds. They really made over her.
I am so glad my Halloween cards were made already. I'm not sure when I'll get back in the craft room. This is an Impression Obsession die that I fell in love with at Stampaway. They had a card made up with it and I just copied it because it was so cool. I have another IO die I bought that I want to make up a card with so I hope I'll have time. I'm sorry to be such a downer but this is my way of keeping track of what is going on. Be kind to one another and stay healthy.

Thinking of you as you cope with your difficult situation. I hope your hubby gets admitted to hospital soon, so he can get the best possible treatment. Remember to look after yourself too.
Love your card! The die cut is wonderful and you've created a great background. xx
I'm praying for you and your husband, Brenda. I hope he is able to get the treatment he needs to get well. Your card is fabulous!! I have that die, too and just love it!! Have a great day :)

Fun card....sorry to hear about hubby. My husband does not want to go to the Doctor...he gets terrible arm pains. I say go to the Dr and he says no. Okay then, don't listen to me. One day all this pain and suffering will come to an end. Hopefully you can get your husband in the hospital for the care he needs.

So sorry to hear about your hubby, Brenda. Did they not give you an option to go to an infusion center for the IV Antibiotics? Often that is an option, depending on the drug & how often it has to be given. Hope they can solve your up close vision problem. Such a cute die & wonderful card!
Brenda, I am so sorry your husband is having a difficult time and in pain...it is not easy for him and certainly not for you. I hope you have support with family so you are not carrying this burden alone! On a happier note your card is gorgeous...that die looks fantastic and I am so glad that you took time for yourself to make it...those little things help to relieve the stress and tension! Keep the cards coming whenever you can! I will keep you both in my prayers!
Gosh, it is raining at your house...or pouring as it were. I hate that you're having to deal with all this kind of thing, as I can imagine it is so wearing on you. I'm thankful you have the POA, so you & the drs can make the best decisions for your DH. I know you have your 2 sons to support you. Good luck with this go-round, and ditto on your eye surgery. Good that you are getting this handled right now. I love this die & I've seen it used as a pretty Christmas landscape die (cut off the tombstone & Halloween things and with some careful scissor surgery, the tombstones can work as tiny snowmen!). You made a terrific card! Well done, and you do what must be, don't worry about crafting. You can always vent here, and know that you have a lot of Blogland support. God Bless. Hugs & TFS
My goodness Brenda, you guys are having a time of it!!! I wish hubby would stay at the hospital, it will be good for him and a break for you. I can see why you are getting so drained mentally and physically. I wish I lived close by to give you a helping hand my friend. Being the caregiver is a 24/7 job and not much thanks for it. You need to have a break, would one of your son's help out a little to give you a break, maybe on a weekend or something? Just a break like that will make you feel so much better. Keep hanging in there my friend and vent to us anytime!!! I love your cute Halloween card. Your background is amazing and I love the silhouettes, so typical Halloween and I love it! Big hugs my friend-Brenda
