We are up to -1 this morning. Molly has been outside four times already so things are looking up. I didn't make any resolutions but I have things in mind I want to do like clean closets and drawers and under the sinks. Clutter takes up so much room and bogs me down. I don't know why I don't throw out 3/4 finished tubes, bottles and jars, clothes I know don't fit or I don't like and just everyday stuff. We move things from the house to the garage to the attic. When we clean out the attic, there are things in there that we don't recognize or know where it came from. But blogs and cardmaking come first. This is a new year and we need to have our priorities straight! This is the last card I received from a card making friend. She has moved away and I miss her. We used to go to Archiver's every Wed. afternoon and craft together. Stay warm and be kind to one another.

This first snow picture is looking out our front door and across the street. The bushes are overwhelmed with snow. The other picture is the house across the street where they have plowed the driveway. We live in an over 55 community and they do our streets, driveways and sidewalks all the way to the door. They've had their hands full this time!

Hi Brenda, I'm getting cold just seeing all that snow. I'm happy if you can stay inside & be warm. We got up to 40 today, with sunshine. S'posed to rain tomorrow. Was nice to have a little break from the cold. Loved your beautiful card you shared, and your snow pictures are beautiful to see. Good for you on the cleanup activities. I should do the same...doubt I will. If I can just get some order in my stamp area, (& keep up with commenting!) I will feel that I've met my resolutions (not that I made any!) TFS & stay warm. Hugs

Brenda, so admire your attitude!! For sure, stay warm and inside! Can't believe how cold it is, but heard on the news about the orders to stay inside! On the good notes, YEAH for the phone ringing and you being able to answer it and someone is on the other end!! Sorry your crafting friend moved away...!

Hi and Happy New Year, Brenda! I hope you've been able to get our of the negative temp range!! It's been cold here, too, but not as bad as the midwest has been socked with. We've had negative temps, single digit temps, and temps in the teens. But last weekend we got up into the 50s! And it looks like it's going to happen again this weekend. What a roller coaster ride!!

I hope you can stay warm inside and craft for a bit!!

Thank you for sharing, Brenda! Nice looking neighborhood and that snow is so pretty! It's a pain, I know, but it's so pretty nevertheless! Have a great weekend!! Have fun with the "spring" cleaning, which happens all year long around here, too! Hugs, Darnell

Oh for the time to have a major clear out AND get everything else done as well Brenda! I have cupboards that rattle as I walk past them... I love your Christmas card with the beautiful sentiment and thank you for sharing your snow photos. Vicky x

Thanks for stopping by the Love The Details blog. I am part of a duo. The hand colored cards on ribbonchallenged.blogspot.com are done by me. Jill Dian, my wife, makes the cards. Your site is well done. I like the cards.

The snow is beautiful, but I'm sure you'll be glad when spring comes. What a lovely card your friend sent. I can't bear to put my cards away that friends made for me this year. Thanks for leaving me a sweet comment!

The weather was certainly frightful wasn't it? Stopping by to wish you a wonderful new year and to thank you so much for your kind comment regarding the loss of my Shotsy. It meant so much. Hugs, Curt

I have just had a massive clear out of cupboards and put a large bin bag full out for the charity van to collect and another 2 carrier bags full to the local charity shop. Some times you just have to bite that bullet and give things away. If they are in my cupboard hidden away what use is that to anyone else. We have been systematically clearing out the loft as The Doc is finding it harder and harder to keep limbing up there. hugs Mrs A.
