Snow is gone, rain is gone, now we have a wind advisory and the wind is howling. I keep hearing noises that I haven't heard before! It is suppose to be 29 degrees in the morning. What is going on and where is Spring? Where did March go?

My son and daughter in law are having Easter for all of us tomorrow so I don't have to cook a big meal. They are probably worried they will get bologna sandwiches since I've been so out of it! I think my daughter in laws are trying to help me out and I appreciate it. I just finished making strawberry brownies to take. Oh my gosh, the recipe said the batter would be thick. I think I hurt myself getting the beaters out of the bowl. I added some water to the batter or I wouldn't have been able to even get it out of the bowl and spread it. They look good and I got the glaze spread over them and waiting for it to dry harden so I can cut them. I am used to waiting for ink to dry.

This card is for my oldest grandson. It is paper by ms. sparkle & co. from JoAnn's. I cut a mat from brown card stock from my stash. The bunny is Spellbinders and embossed with Nuvo hot chocolate embossing powder. I added a bunny tail and colored the paper pink under his ears. Quick and easy. Be kind to one another.

Snow is gone, now lots and lots of rain. Day after day of it. So, I made another card. This one is for my youngest grandson. The paper is from Concord & 9th called Happy Hues. The scalloped mat is Mama Elephant and the peeps are Simon Says Stamp. The greeting is Denami. How's that for spreading the love around. I'm trying to keep the industry alive! Oh my, did we get snow! Weather said 10.2 inches and I believe it. It snowed all day Saturday pretty hard. Poor Molly, she had to run back and forth in one line to make a place to squat. Her little belly was so wet and cold when she came in!  It was a wonderful day to work on cards and I actually did that. My Easter cards were mailed this morning so with Good Friday there is every chance they will be late and I am so sorry. It took me  a while to get back in the card making mode.

This is one I made Saturday. The bunnies and grass are Lawn Fawn , the eggs are Studio G clear stamps and the sentiment is Simon Says Stamp. My sequins are in little plastic bags and with the exception of Pretty Pink Posh I don't know where they came from. I get a lot from Scrapping For Less in the kits each month. But these matched, so I used them! Be kind to one another.

Our first day of spring brought three inches of snow but nothing like the east coast. Mother Nature really has it in for them and I feel bad for all those dealing with the snow and cold. Since it is so snowy here I decided to stay in and make a card. I need to get busy with my Easter cards or they won't be finished in time to mail.  This is a Memory Box Zimmer Oval Background die, Distress Oxide Inks for background, and a Lawn Fawn sentiment embossed with Zing Grapefruit embossing powder. I added some sequins from Scrapping For Less kits. Under the oval die I added Acetate. I am entering this in casmixup challenge for March. I had to post two pictures because the acetate showed in the first one, but not the yellow sponging.

I sponged, stamped, embossed, used a die and acetate. Be kind to one another.

I had a lovely, sunny day and that always lifts my spirits after days of gray clouds. I was so happy to make my cards for the Twofer Card Challenge #3. It has been a while since I actually made a card on my own and I was having withdrawal. Busy week coming up with rehab, taxes and Molly's complete checkup, shots and teeth cleaning. Right now she is resting up for it!
I used an Altenew stamp, Spellbinders oval die, Lawn Fawn green polka dot paper and a SU sentiment on the first card and added a twine bow. The second card is alcohol inks on Yupo paper and a SU sentiment. I added a few unknown sequins. Be kind to one another.

I want to thank you all for the support you offered during my break from crafting. It means a lot to me and really has helped me through this bleak period. I hope to get some cards made this weekend. Next week I will be at the hospital four days! Two for rehab, one for the group by the American Lung Association and once for the weekly meeting. I feel rehab is helping and I look forward to going. This week I have exercises to do at home. So, it is still time consuming but I am feeling more energy and my outlook is better.

This is a card we made at the last SU class. I like the colors she chose and the design is new to me. She does try to do different things and has a technique class every month where we try different techniques or get tips. It is such a nice group of ladies and I enjoy it so much. Be kind to one another.

I want to welcome a new follower to my blog. She is Kara of http://karalynnecards.blogspot.ca/. She has a great blog and is a designer on the Twofer Card Challenge. I hope you have a chance to say hello.

I'm just going to put this out here. I am in a bad funk with crafting. All my energy seems to be with breathing. Three and four days a week are taken up with it. I get up, eat, shower and get ready to go to the hospital. Tues. and Thurs. for rehab, Fridays for the meetings and one Wednesday for the group. I have no desire to make a card in my off time. Right now I have six stamp sets on my desk along with three ink pads and the misti. I have stamped one design, colored with copics and don't like it. My mind just won't function in card mode. I've looked at Pinterest and I just can't do it. I want to make cards for Twofer and for Easter. I think about starting all the time, but I can't seem to do anything. I hope this will pass and soon. Another scary thing - I don't have any inclination to buy anything either. No stamps, no ink no dies. Nothing. I enjoyed going to my SU class but she did all the work and picked everything out. All I had to do was put it together. This is the fun birthday card we made in class. I love the design and the paper along with the pandas. They are so cute. I'm showing it closed and opened. All Stampin Up supplies. I'm trying to visit you but if I'm not commenting now I will try to get caught up. Be kind to one another.

This is another card made with the Heartfelt Blooms SU stamp. It is so easy to make a quick card with this stamp because it lends itself to any occasion. Just used cardstock and a bit of ribbon.

I also wanted to catch you up on Molly's reading library. This one wore her out because she stayed up past her bedtime because she couldn't put it down. Be kind to one another.

This is another card we made at the Stampin Up class. I love this simple bouquet and would work for any type of card. Just added a simple little yarn bow.

I started my pulmonary rehab yesterday. I can say I have high hopes for this class. I was able to do six minutes on the bike and six minutes on the treadmill. Not fast, but I made it through. They worked with us on the breathing and that helps. There was another lady there for the first time too so we worked together.  When I parked and walked into the hospital I had to sit down and catch my breath before getting on the elevator. When I left I did not have to do that, so that was already an improvement. There are four other classes on nutrition, medications, emotional aspects and prevention measures that I also have to attend and a support group once a month by the American Lung Association. It has refreshments!

Winter has returned today with howling winds and a bit of snow. Great day to start my Easter cards.  I haven't really felt like doing much because I don't have much energy. I take a nap every afternoon and hope to give that up soon. Be kind to one another.
