First off today I would like to welcome a new follower to my blog. She is  Nessa of  http://nessascraftyplace.blogspot.com/. Nessa is from the UK and used to blog but then took a break. I'm so happy she is back with us and she makes the prettiest cards.

I want to thank you all for the suggestions for my backgrounds. I took a break from them yesterday and made a card for my girlfriend who lost her husband to ALS a year ago Christmas. The would have been sharing their 50th wedding anniversary the first week of May and I wanted to share this card with you. It is an Endless Creation flower stamp and a SS hugs stamp on the front. The circles are Lil' Inkers and the scalloped is PTI. It is the inside though that I love. It is a River City Rubber Works stamp. I don't know where I got it and didn't buy it for anything special but I loved the verse. I think it is perfect to send to comfort her.

I'm getting all my paperwork ready today to take to the atty. meeting tomorrow. It is a lot of stuff that I had to dig for and still have to make a few phone calls today. Be kind to one another.

I notice that the aqua circle looks crooked on the front. It is popped up on foam and it is really straight! I can't always claim that, but in this case it is true!

I was home all day yesterday and it was a day of good news, bad news in crafting. I wanted to try some new techniques I've seen online. Turns out I need to spend a lot of time on Youtube to find out how these things are ACTUALLY done. Mine didn't work out too well. First I smooshed and it was not good, then I sprayed Dylusions spray and I couldn't really see well in the box and the stencil wasn't down good so spray got under it. My next attempt was better. I added ink to paste and added it to a stencil. That is my favorite but it got under the tape on the stencil and messed up. I will do that again. It takes practice to learn these things so I'm not discouraged. It was fun just to play and it is a learning curve. I have learned that sometimes when you stamp over these backgrounds or add elements it does make it look better. Today both hubby and I got for our checkup at the doctors. I have one more nursing home to visit that I hadn't considered before but I want to be sure. Probably won't get there until tomorrow. Be kind to one another.

I made a card! Yes, I did. Finally. I was inspired by Lauren Bassen of https://laurafadora.wordpress.com/ background card on April 20th. I loved the soft colors and wanted to duplicate it. I didn't have the background stamp she used but I used a tiny square one from SU called Itty Bitty Backgrounds. It is very old but I do love it. Stamped in versamark and embossed in clear powder. Then sponged on distress ink. I die cut the new SU butterfly and sponged the same colors on it in reverse order so it would show up on the card and not blend in. The wishing die is from Simon Says and I cut it twice in white cardstock and once in pink and glued them together. Then stamped the rest of the sentiment in black ink. Added a little bling and it was done. I love how it came out. You know how sometimes you make a card and it doesn't look like what it did in your mind and you are just "Oh well, it's okay". This one was a nice surprise. I am going to enter it in http://seizethebirthday.blogspot.com/2015/04/make-your-own-background.html. Be kind to one another.

Thank you, Greta. I will also add this card to the Grab button for Uniko StudioUniko Challenge that is Things with Wings.

Thanks again everyone for all of your encouragement. I'm feeling so much better. Got my meds changed yesterday and I can breathe again. Saturday I cleaned the shower and ran the vaccum and almost washed the windows. But lets not get carried away. I knew it was going to rain on Sunday so I'm waiting.

Home health care still hasn't called me back nor has the elder care atty. There must be a lot of people wanting this kind of help. Today I'm off to visit another NH. It's farther away but much newer. That really doesn't matter, only the care they get. I have heard they do excellent work with dementia patients so that's why I'm visiting.

The card I shared before was from my great friend Greta of http://ggnursecreations.blogspot.com/. She makes stunning cards so if you don't know her you should pop in the see her.Todays card is from another wonderful internet friend, Brenda of http://friendscraftinwithfriends.blogspot.com/. They are going through some tough times right now and prayers for them would be appreciated. I love her card too. She uses patterned paper so well and added that lovely bling. Be kind to one another.

Thank you all so very, very much for your comments. Each one made me cry. I'm so thankful to have such caring friends who are looking out for me.

Turns out I am very sick! I have a severe case of bronchitis that just won't quit. The Dr.'s office said they have seen a lot of this. I got a Depo shot in the office. A SHOT! I can't remember the last time I got a shot because of sickness in the Dr.'s office. I think I was six. I also have Levaquin and Prednisone to take and go back in six weeks. I had bloodwork and breathing test and walked on the treadmill. I would have liked to have a chest xray but the machine was out of order. I should have said I wasn't ready to walk on the treadmill as I got so light headed and it took a long time for me to settle down. I've had Levaquin before and had hallucinations so I'm going to take it at night. Then I drug myself through Jo Ann's and bought (of all things) two paper pads! Like I needed paper. You can tell I feel better already. But in all due respect the Dr.'s office is right down the street from Jo Ann's and 20 minutes away from my house so it was silly not to go. They could always call an ambulance.

I have a call in to a home healthcare place to see about having someone come to our house and bathe and dress hubby and do some light housekeeping. I think they have a 3 hour minimum and I was wanting someone to come at least 3 times a week but not for 3 hours each time. That would be the ideal situation for the time being if we can work it out. When I feel better I think I can go ahead and take care of DH for a while. The being sick has been the hardest part because I just couldn't get my breath.

My son came down yesterday and brought my camera home. We met at Starbucks and had a nice visit. That was so nice of him and he didn't even know I need the camera to blog! I'm sharing a darling card today that I received for Easter from a sweet blogging friend. I love those bunnies and she added the teeniest pearls for the eyes. Again, thanks to all of you. You are terrific friends and so uplifting. Be kind to everyone else like you are to me.

I'm just here today to update my blog but no cards. I have been visiting Nursing Homes. It is getting close to time I think.  Also talking to the VA again. One of the places said VA Benefits is completely different than the VA administration. Duh. I guess no one thought to mention that. I still don't think we will qualify but if you aren't at home any longer you might be eligible. So I'm waiting for them to call me back. I don't think anyone answers the phone anymore. You leave a message and maybe they will call you back. Or NOT.  The director of NH also mentioned speaking to an elderlawyer about splitting the assets. I don't know what that means so I'm making an appointment as well. After touring one place, they suggested Assisted Living. Theirs is run by points instead of charging by each thing for what they have to do for the person. As long as the person can feed themselves and get from the bed to a wheelchair without help from two helpers they can be in AL. It is not quite as expensive monthly and he could be moved into long term care or memory care from there.

I have had three months of steady something. I don't know if it is just a cold or more. I have COPD and I have coughed so hard these last few months it wears me out. I have been on a zpack but that doesn't seem to help. I go to the pulmonary Dr. Friday and I'm anxious to see what he says. I think if I felt good I could work better with hubby. It's all I can do to get him showered and dressed. He is having bathroom issues so that requires me to clean and mop the bathroom every single time and that is wearing me out. I'm just plum tired. I'm hoping the Dr. can help me feel much better and then I can do whatever needs to be done for hubby.

I left my camera at our son's when we went for Easter. I feel like a limb is missing. I haven't had the energy to make a card but still would like to share the cards I got for Easter. Soon, I hope. Be kind to one another.

I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday with your loved ones. One last Easter card! This is for our youngest grandson and it is all dies. The bunny is Spellbinders as well as the eggs. The grass is Lawn Fawn and the peep is DieNamics. I am going to enter this card in the thepaperplayers this week for use a die cut. I certainly did that! On this card I used snippets for the eggs so I'm going to also entered this in pixiescraftyworkshop. Be kind to one another.

I want to wish everyone a very happy, lovely Easter holiday. We are celebrating next week with our family since we take turns with our sons wives' families. This year fell where both of them have their turns at the same time. DH doesn't know what day it is so he will just be happy to get together with the family when we can..

This is the card I'm sharing with all my favorite people and you are all my favorites. This is a Darice e/f, and DeNami stamps for the image and greeting. Love you all and I'm grateful that you choose to stop by and visit. I cherish the comments and I'm so happy to "know" all of you. Be kind to one another.

I have another Easter card for my youngest granddaughter to share today. It is a cloudy, rainy day and the temp. has dropped but the weekend is supposed to be much warmer and nice. I have used a Die Namics  basket die, an Impression Obession rabbit die and a punch with glitter foam for the eggs.  I used tiny little pom poms for their tails. I'm anxious to see if she recognizes the eggs made of foam. We bought the foam several years ago for her to make bookmarks to sell at her school fundraiser. I have most of it left and haven't used any of it before. Three posts in three days is a record for me!  Be kind to one another.

Just wanted to pop in quick today and share a birthday card made for a friend. I stamped the background with little stamps from Lawn Fawn and used a SU stamp for the flower and turquoise paper and a Hero Arts sentiment. I am entering this in the colourQ challenge #285.... Be kind to one another.

Beautiful day today. That always lifts my spirits.  Today's card is for my oldest granddaughter. She loves "House Mouse" stamps so I thought she would like this one. It is Lawn Fawn paper, Lil Inker circle die, Fiskars punch and some yellow trim from my sewing basket with Glossy Accents on the heart and yellow zig zag. Be kind to one another.
