It sure turned chilly today. Today is our 48th wedding anniversary. The time has really gone by fast and yet it seems like such a short time ago. Where do the years go.

Todays card is for my youngest grandsons birthday. I watched a video by Jennifer McGuire that showed how to stamp over the original and pop up the sentiment over it. It's called spotlight die cutting and was posted on April 10th on her blog http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/page/3. I had the Bazzill kraft foil paper and loved how the card was done. I think it's a good card for male or female at any age. Anytime I see a card made with supplies I already have, I'm all over that. I don't have much imagination so I always need a push in the right direction. Then I see or get an idea or just copy it outright! Which I did in this case - pun intended. Be kind to one another.

So pretty, and very dramatic with the gold colors. Thanks for this link, as I am not remembering that I saw it. Really like this one, and the bold sentiment is just perfect for your young man! He'll love it. You are certainly spreading your wings with designing! Good for you. TFS & Big hugs

Congratulations on your wedding anniversary! Hope you've enjoyed your day.

Lovely card, Brenda. I'm sure we all get times when our imagination goes and we need to find some inspiration from something we see. You did a great job with this card. xx

Oh, Brenda, you went and had an anniversary while I was out of town! Happy Belated Anniversary to you two! That's such a long time and yet I know what you mean, somehow it doesn't seem possible that it's been such a long time!

The times when the "I'm HOW old" thought hits me hardest is when I hear of people I knew as children. Like yesterday I talked to a former neighbor of ours. I remember clearly their son Andy and picture him as forever 10 years old which he was when they moved away. Well, she told me on the phone that ANDY'S SON was 22 and had just graduated from college! Say what?! I needed CPR after that one!!

Speaking of grandsons, I adore this card you made for yours and plan to go watch that video! It truly is a card anyone would love to receive no matter their race, creed, age, religion, or whether they like pie. Sorry, that last bit sounds wrong. Can you tell I'm punchy from jet lag?!

I hope you are having a great week! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell
