Last one

My son invited me to a Zoom last week and it was the highlight of this lock down. I took a shower and spent quite a while doing my hair (or, as I am affectionately calling it, the haystack on my head), put on makeup and even added a bracelet. You would have thought I was meeting the Queen! He was practicing setting up the Zoom for his meetings but it was so good to see him. During our visit he was trying different screens and all of a sudden he disappeared into a small picture at the top. When he got it back to full screen it was so dark and I said "You aren't very bright" - of course meaning the picture - but it came out wrong.  I couldn't stop laughing and he was too. He said "thanks, mom, I've been told that before but never by my mom".  I couldn't help but share that!

And if you aren't tired of me by now I have one last Easter card to share. This is a Gerda Steiner bunny that I just love. The embossing folder is Memory Box and I covered the flat side with ink and put the paper on the raised side, then closed it and ran it through the Big Shot. Using a heart die I made a panel for the bunny and sponged on some pink ink. I shaded the bunny with Copics and added glossy accents to his glasses. Okay, I'm done.

Be kind to one another.

Glad to hear about your ZOOM experience. I have no clue what zoom even is, but I assume you can view each other while talking! Glad your son set it up for you. I absolutely love this darling little card with the great colorful embossing and cute bunny! Hopefully you will soon have another zooming experience, and I'm sure it will get easier with each time you do it!

Thank you for sharing the moments from the quarantine. Cute anecdote. :-) I'm meeting my son on the screen since 9 years. Meeting him in person is a gift for me once a year. I assume this will not be possible in 2020. :-( We remine on screen and Skype.
Your pink bunny card is soooooo sweet! Nicely done background and fantastic design. Bunny has a nice pare of glasses. :-)
Stay safe!
Hugs, Sonja

I think those of us with short hair are all dealing with a new hairstyle, Brenda. Every time I wash my hair, it's like a new head! Good for you getting all dolled up for Zoom. A girl's gotta dress up sometimes! I see another embossing folder that needs to go on my list. I love how you inked it and it came out perfectly! That bunny is ADORABLE!

That is the cutest bunny! The spectacles make him look very smart. I think if I don't get a haircut soon, I will be sporting a pony tail which I haven't had since college-many, many years ago.

What a darling bunny, and those glossy glasses really crack me up! I love your beautifully embossed background! We usually get together with my brother's family on Friday nights, so since this all started, we've been using Zoom to play. They have the board set up at their house with one camera on it, and we have one computer in the middle of our table with just the view of the board. We have another camera so we can see each other. We roll the dice on our side when it's our turn, and they move the marbles for us. It seems to work well. I hope you are keeping well, Brenda - I miss you!

Oh my goodness--I laughed out loud reading about the Zoom test! Just what I needed! The bunny card is absolutely darling, Brenda! I really love the effect you got inking the embossing folder--mine never seem to turn out very good. Hoping the bad weather misses you. Think of you often. Hugs, Greta

I came to see what's new and notice that I haven't commented on this post and that'll never do. It's too good! I thought I had, but I'll bet it's because we talked about it on the phone. I still bust a gut every time I run through your conversation in my head! You guys are the quickest wittest family I know! And your last bunny is indeed from the "save the best for last" column! He is beyond adorable and I love the background! I always get that technique backwards and throw up my hands in dizgust! I hope Lauren is better and all is well with you! Love and hugs, Darnell

TFS the fun story... appreciate the laugh.y I don’t remember the last time I put on make-up or did my hair. I Zoomed with friends last Sunday and I must have scared them off. 😂
Your Easter card is adorable. I have that EF inking technique in an upcoming MB post next month.

Oh Brenda, this is darling! I love your sweet bunny with the glasses! :) And great design with him propped up on the heart shape with sponging all around him. And the background is GORGEOUS! I had forgotten about this technique and now I need to do some backgrounds using it! Thanks for the inspiration!

LOVE the storry about Zoom'ing with your son. I can just imagine getting all gussed-up. :) Such a funny story and glad that both of you had a good laugh! xx
