I've had a need for more sympathy cards than usual this month. This card was done with a Spellbinders die and variegated red gilding flakes called Mona Lisa by Houston Art. I used the outline of the window to make a stencil and added it to double sided tape, then cut around the outline. That required cleaning the sticky off the scissors! Then I cut both pieces of the window in black cardstock and adhered them to the sticky side of the stencil. Using my finger I smooshed the gilding flakes all over the window to make the stain glass. That worked even better than using a sponge or brush for me. The sentiment is Hero Arts. I am sharing this in the CAS stencil challenge this month.
