Day 835

Oh wait, that's day 35 but who's counting. And probably many more to come. First we didn't have fresh water for two days, then the wind storm came through and the power was out for six hours. And I was lucky. The tornadoes did such terrible damage in the south, it breaks my heart to see that in the midst of everything else going on. Six hours without power at night is scary for me since my oxygen works off of electricity but I did fine. I worry for those when that happens in a catastrophe.  The wind did blow over the table on my patio and bent the umbrella pole. The umbrella base is cast iron and the table is a very heavy metal. I can't take the umbrella out by myself and the wind just blew it over like it was plastic.

I have another Easter card that I haven't posted yet, so even though it's late I'm sharing. It is another
Newton's Nook bunny colored with Copics and a Spellbinders die. The sentiment is My Favorite Things.

Be kind to one another.

Oh Brenda, how scary for you!! I'm so glad the only thing that was sent topsy turvy was the table - and you're ok. That's the main thing.
Love your sweet card and that precious little bunny. So cute.

I'm sorry for the damage but it's minimal considering what others have lost - the important thing is that you're OK and didn't lose your oxygen! Whew! These are some scary times we're living in, so I'm happy your safe and well. Cute Easter card, even if it is late :)

Oh Wow, what a wind to knock over that table and the umbrella! I am glad you didn't lose your power, maybe you need a generator in case...I am glad that you are safe and staying indoors...guilt free play time I call it!! Another adorable Easter card, such a cute bunny all colored up too!! Heart Hugs! Colleen

It is a relief to know that there was no bigger damage at you because of tornado. Someone will help you to place the table. :-)
It seems that the whole world is getting crazy. There was been an earthquake 3 weeks ago near to us. Just a week after the pandemic was officially proclaimed. Strange, because we are not living at the earthquacke area...
I like your easter bunny. :-) Cute card and well designed.
Take care and stay safe!
Hugs, Sonja

Wow! That must have been some wind, Brenda! I'm glad that's the worst of the damage it did at your house! Pretty scary stuff going on! But your sweet Easter bunny lightens the mood! Take care, my friend.

Sorry to hear about your electric being out and the wind was awful! We had it here, but didn't have any damage. They did warn of possible power outages. Your card is so sweet and pretty with the darling bunny! Love the background color, too! Take care, hugs!!

Glad the tornados didn't hit you--so scary & sad! Must have been quite the wind to knock over your table like that. Really darling image & card, Brenda!

Your Easter bunny is a delight, Brenda, but the poor guy can't compete in my mind with that photo of your patio table upside down! Sh* , er, shoot! I've seen that table and I can't believe the wind picked it up and turned it upside down! I think it would've picked Molly up and carried her away. I'm so glad that's all the damage you suffered. What a year so far! It's exhausting. Take care of yourself as we plod along day.after.day.after.day. Hugs, Darnell xxoo

That was one strong wind storm Brenda. Glad the table was the only thing tipped over. Scary to have no power for six hours. Glad it all worked out and you are fine. And glad to hear that the fresh water is back. OK, that's enough for you, my sweet friend! Hoping it's all smooth sailing from now on.

Your bunny is adorable! I love the colours ... so bright and fun! Made me smile. :) xx
