Thank you all so much for your kind comments. They are so uplifting and now you know how much I value all of you. We started out today so great. Hubby had breakfast and a shower and is now watching his favorite DVD. He is mostly so agreeable about things so that makes things so much easier. He used to argue about taking a shower but now knows it is necessary. If you can stand a few more Christmas cards I'll show you my cards from friends that are card makers. The first on is from Nancy who started stamping then changed to quilting. She made this with patterned paper and a die cut with some bling. Then my SIL who stamps a little bit, bought this card when she was in Florida. There is a sticker on the back that says Kards by Kristi. It is a gorgeous view through a window. . Next one is from my niece. The red body of this card is fabric that she cut out and glued on. The pine cone one is from my friend, Audrey. It has been embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and sparkle added to the pine cones. The last one is from my SU demonstrator. I love the color and the whole

A lovely selection of cards from your friends. I always love to receive handmade Christmas cards, I had nine this year, as I know how much time has been taken to make them. xx
I'm glad that hubby had a better today, hope today was another good one Brenda! The cards you received are just gorgeous!! Love them all. Hugs to you my friend, Brenda
You sure got some lovely cards, Brenda. Glad you had a good day!
I love receiving Christmas cards too, and aren't they special when you know someone made it? Thank you for visiting my blog...I think I am back now, the tree is down and everything seems to be back to normal...most of my family were sick over the holidays and even now, some are still struggling with strep throat...I am anxious to get back to making cards on a regular basis. My bible study ladies are in need of Sympathy cards, so I know what I will be doing in the next few days! Keeping you and your DH in my prayers. God bless you for your patience and kindness in keeping him home and caring for him!
TFS your lovely cards. Each one is such a treasure, and I was especially entranced with the fabric trimmed one (used to be a quilter, have tons of fabric I plan (?one day?!) to incorporate on cards. I'm glad that DH is being agreeable to the things that must be done. That is a blessing for you, as sometimes that is NOT the case with this illness. Again, I hope you are able to stay cozy during this intense weather pattern just now. Hugs & stay warm.
