I finished my Valentines yesterday and I'm going to take a little break from cardmaking. I am taking the Online Class Clean and Simple 4 but haven't had a chance to make any of the cards yet. I had the ideas for the cards I wanted to do for Valentines and got stuck on that. I hope to start on class cards tomorrow or Sunday before Super Bowl. Todays card is for my granddaughter. It is a Spellbinders die cut apple on an embossed background. The embossing folder doesn't have a name on it but it is blue. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn and embossed in Stampendous red glitter embossing powder on a piece of vellum. I added a few red sequins from a package I had. Be kind to one another.

Oh, Brenda, she will treasure this! I've never seen this apple e/f and it really is perfect for your bright apple focus pocus! Excellent execution of that glitter e/p on vellum, too! Than's not easy to do. Enjoy the class! I had to forego it because, she says ashamed, I have STILL not finished the watercolor class from when, a year ago? I'm planning to clean the Playhouse (you wouldn't believe how bad it got because of the NBUS challenge!), do my Valentines, which I haven't started, and then finish the class. Just typing that makes me want a nap! Have a great day!! Hugs, Darnell

A beautiful card, Brenda. I'm sure your granddaughter will treasure it. I've got that embossing folder too, although I bought it ages ago and I don't think I've ever used it. (Hanging my head in shame!). I'm pretty sure it's a Quickutz embossing folder. After seeing your lovely card, I think it's about time I used it. xx

Haven't run across this E/F but how perfect with your die motif. Love the way you've got the colors captured in that delicious looking apple. The placement of the red sequins draws the eye around the card, and I'm loving the embossing on that vellum sentiment. The GD will love it too. TFS & Hugs

I think that apple has caught every ones attention! Looks really good. Perfect for your granddaughter.
My camera is not prone to hissy fits normally so hope it is not trying to tell me something. enjoy your classes. Like Darnell I'm still on the water colour class but even worse not even started it at all!! Time I need more time. Instead it's running away from me. hugs Mrs A.
