Making cards requires patience. I am learning that since I remade my card several times last week and I remade this one today. I tried to stamp the friend sentiment on vellum and it looked pretty but didn't really show up. So I had to go back and redo that part of the card. I don't think the stickles really show up around the little flower in the picture but they are there. I am sending this to my friend Marilyn. I am also entering it into the http://casology.blogspot.com/challenge this week. I also just saw that http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/ is using Friend this week too so I am popping over there.

Edited to add: On the advice of Gillian and Razzle Dazzle I will also link this to the http://unikostudio.blogspot.com/. Thank you both for coming by and welcome to my blog. I hope you drop in again.

Brenda, great job on your vellum envelope for the pretty scallop valentine. What a good idea to present the valentine as you did. Loved the placing of the red gems too. Actually when I enlarged your photo, the flowers on the sentiment show very nicely. So it's a very pretty card, and you can be most proud of it. Your friend will love it! Hope ya'll are staying warm & inside. (I do a lot of 'do-overs' too.) I'll be posting a card in a few days, once I know it's been received, that I was inspired from your earlier post. TFS & Hugs

A totally pretty card card Brenda ... it is annoying when you have to go back and remake cards isn't it especially if you've spent time doing it originally ... then again it's always best to get it perfect in your eyes.
Thanks so much for sharing and taking part and as Gillian suggests you might also like to link up at Uniko Studio where the challenge theme is Love & Friendship.

What a sweet Valentine, Brenda! I re-do parts of cards all the time. You're right, it does take patience & some trial & error, but it's worth it! Have a great weekend!

What a pretty card Brenda! I love the heart in the vellum envie, so cute. also have that same stamp somewhere but don't think I've ever use it! I love how it looks on your card and I think I can see some sparkle and shine from the stickles. Hugs, Brenda
