The carpet is installed and I love it. Everything is so new and clean except for everything that is in the garage, tub and sun porch! The thought of bringing all that stuff back in and sorting through it is just overwhelming. I did so well in the beginning at sorting and donating. Then the time started getting away and I just took stuff out. Today I am taking a break and visiting my blogs to say hi. I'm tired and the rest of it can wait.

I remember when Darnell of http://www.djkardkreations.com/  posted her picture of her paper trimmers on Valentines Day and I took a picture of mine to join up with her. She mentioned how many we all have! I have six and don't feel that any of them really give an accurate cut but maybe some day I will find one I like. Mary of http://carolinacardsbymaryh.blogspot.com/ gave me a tip on one to buy but it isn't on my immediate list.  This picture was taken on my old carpet. I hope to post a picture soon of the new. Be kind to one another and I'll try to get by and say hi.

By all means--take a break, Brenda!! I know it must be beautiful & like being in a new house with fresh paint & new carpet! At least you must have found the computer & hopefully a comfortable chair for you--& one for Molly! Hope you don't get snow--we have one more dry day & then lots of rain predicted. Hugs, Greta

So good to hear from you, and to know that you're not overdoing, taking a little break. I do understand overwhelming!!! But you're making great strides, and now you can enjoy the fresh new carpet. I think all of us have these multiple cutters. My genesis is the best cutter investment I've made yet. But all in good time! Hope you're going to be able to enjoy a nice relaxing weekend. Big hugs. Just take it slow Brenda! There's a saying 'How do you eat an elephant? Answer - a little bit at a time'. You'll get there in the end for sure, even if it seems a bit overwhelming right now.

I have trimmer envy! I only have three here - although I do have a carousel with 16 assorted pairs of scissors in :)

Hugs

Di xx

I'm glad you are taking a break to rest and regroup, Brenda!! And I'm glad the carpet was installed with no problems!! I have about six or seven cutters, too and like you, I just don't think any of them do a great job. I won't be able make it up to the Heirloom Show at the fairgrounds. I would have loved to meet you if I could. If you go, I hope you have a wonderful time!! Enjoy the weekend and rest my friend!! Big hugs :)

Looks like we all have too many trimmers! My favourite looks very similar to the orange and grey one at the bottom of your photo. I use it all the time and because it's got the semi-circular finger guards to press down on the paper or card when cutting, it always seems to cut accurately. xx

I didn't think I had that many until I thought about it! My workhorse is a Carl, and my travel companion is Stampin Up one. Do a bit at a time sorting, then hopefully it won't be so bad. Take care xxx

Ah, my sweet cutter comrade! Thank you for joining me in this ridiculousness!! Apparently I'm still the reigning champ, which really surprised me. I guess some of us have a "thing" for finding that perfect one that cuts true and consistently every time.

I'm glad to hear the carpet is finished and you're happy with and, mostly, that you are taking a break today! I really am worrying about you overdoing and praying that you're not, so I will rest easier today! Oh. I just scrolled up and see that it took a day for this to appear in my inbox. Okay, then, I'm glad you had a day of rest yesterday and I hope you take it easy all weekend!! Love and hugs, Darnell

It seems like forever since I have commented on your blog. My life is still the same. I have had very little time to craft and it's making me cranky! Sounds like you have been a busy bee. You always have such a good attitude about everything and you make me smile. Thinking about you, my friend! HUGS!

I'm feeling very muct the poor church mouse here as I only have two trimmers!!! Never heard of that expression
before about how to eat an elephant. Me thinks I need to check out Miss Di's fridge ASAP.!!!!! Glad to hear the carpeting is all down and that you like it. Looking forward to seeing the photos. Take a step back from sorting out and enjoy your new found space. Hugs Mrs A.

I'm so glad your carpeting is done and that you love it my friend! I had to laugh as I had a ton of cutters too. Well still do! Got rid of some and bought some more. My two favorite now are the Cutter Pro and a Carl paper cutter. The Carl paper cutter I got on Amazon. It is a great cutter, both are really. Can't wait to see the new carpet!!! Hugs, Brenda
