I made a card. It's very basic but I do like it. Lawn Fawn paper with a strip cut from designer paper of acorns. I sponged DI on paper and punched the leaves from an EK punch. Then Versamark ink and UTEE. The sentiment is DeNami.

I call the hospital every day and found that DH is off nine meds and has been given something to help with the aggression. He's not eating a lot but is awake and in the common area. He is not talking, but is watching everyone.  The boys and I are going to visit tomorrow. I'm very nervous and hope he will not want us to take him home. If we can just talk to him instead of him getting so upset that will be great. It sounds like he is just so confused about where he is and what is happening to him. We'll see what happens.  Be kind to one another.

  1. What a stunning card, Brenda!! The leaves look amazing!! I love the pretty colors!!

Good luck visiting your husband tomorrow. Somehow I missed your last post so I didn't realize he'd been transferred to another hospital. Hopefully they will be able to get all of his meds in order and he will start eating more. I am praying for you my friend. Big hugs :)

  2. What a fab idea to cut your leaves from that fiery autumn DP!! I adore this idea, Brenda! I am keeping you in my prayers as you make the visit to see Bill with your sons tomorrow. I'm so glad they are both going with you. This is just so tough and so hard on all four of you. Know that you are loved and thought of by all of us! Hugs, Darnell

  7. Love this CAS with the gorgeous fall leaves. A great look and the acorn border set it off just right. Hope today's visit will go ok, and not leave all of you upset. I'm glad if removal of some of the meds are calming DH down...I'm sure he is very confused about where & why...Prayers & hugs coming your way - for ALL of you! TFS & Hugs.
