Just a quick post today to see if I can add a picture. It is the first time we will be able to go to our grandsons basketball game because of the weather, so we are getting ready to go. May have freezing rain and snow later today. I'm showing you my newest tools of the trade - my fancy new mouse and my old fashion can opener. Be kind to one another.

Oh my gosh, I did it!! I meant to turn the picture sideways but you get the idea. I'm getting there slowly but I'm pleased so far with this new computer. It still won't let me comment on some blogs and I don't know why. I think I will go ahead and have the tech guy come Monday since there are still things not working.

That's one heck of a snazzy mouse you have snared! Don't use them myself not with' The Wimps' around. He'd freak out at the sight of a normal one let alone a snazzied up one!

The old and the new.......your can opener can be used for a picture of "Do you remember what this was used for?" for the younger generation to ponder...hahahaha!!

I do hope you get things all sorted out by a nice young person on Monday, Brenda. I'd be in the same boat if it weren't for the Mister who handles all that stuff. I think Mary will be a great help, tho, if you still need it after Monday.

I'm glad your weather cleared up enough to let you out for a game. I hope you had fun! Your picture of the old and the new is a karack up ~ and that's a really bedazzled mousie you got there! I could never operate a computer without a mouse. Oh and I agree with you 100% about the need for repairmen in this day and age. We have become such a throw-away society.

I haven't seen you at my place so I'm assuming you are having trouble commenting ~ I hope that is one of the things you get straightened out Monday. Another friend told me that she always needs at least three tries to leave a comment, but no one else has ever said they had trouble like that. Always something!

Crossing my fingers and sending hugs! Darnell

Brenda, just left you a comment on an earlier post about the USB mouse. Looks like you found that out all by your own self. Also seems like you are making progress in learning how to play with your new buddy! Good for you, and hope the game was fun & that you are now able to stay in cozy & warm, and create. I did get thru the Lesson 3 videos, no homework done, but at least I got to enjoy the videos. Awesome. I signed up for the newsletter so I can learn about upcoming classes. Not sure why, since I didn't give a stellar performance on this one, but I did love seeing the techniques! Hugs

Computer issues are to worst! I've certainly had my share, but have to say Google Chrome gives me a lot less heartache than IE. Hope you don't have freezing rain! Love that beautiful mouse!
