Watercolor

I have said time and time again, I can't watercolor. Kids in kindergarten do it but I can't seem to. This is my attempt and I like how it came out. I've seen so many cards where the stamp is colored, then spritzed with water. That looked doable to me so this is my attempt.  I'm at a loss as to why I got different colors from this ink but it is interesting. I inked and spritzed the Gina K. stamp, I spritzed the paper, I stamped and spritzed again! I watered it to death. I added the panel to an aqua cardbase. I don't know who it will go to, so no sentiment yet.

Ha! I can't watercolor to save my life either Brenda! But I am sure loving how this card came out. The two colors from one color is so cool looking! That color must have had some underlying blue in it. I love the effect you got. Such a beautiful and interesting looking card! I hope you have a go at this again with other colors and get a similar effect. So cool!!!! Hugs, Breda

I can't seem to get the hang of watercolor like everyone else can either but I keep trying. I think you did a great job! I love the color that came out and it's so pretty and different. Great job!

I like the arty feel you achieved, Brenda, and I'm glad you like it because I know you've persevered! I also like the clean and simple design. You caught me swallowing when I got to the stick joke. Fortunately, I was drinking water! Hugs, Darnell

I'm not good at watercoloring either, but I still keep trying new things like you did here! This turned out very cute and I love the hint of blue color around the inks! I think I can, I think I can, etc. :)

A lovely CAS card with watercolor, Brenda! I find that I don't do much water coloring myself. I need to do it more and practice more. I do like the results since there are so many different ways to do it. But, I do what I enjoy more such as coloring with my copics. Anyways, I do love the artsy feel of your card...so pretty! Take care and have a great weekend, hugs!!

Wonderful watercoloring to me! I understand, the struggle is real to me, too! Am always amazed at artists who do it so well and effortlessly.

You did make me smile with watering your card to death!! It has given a lovely effect and I like it. Managed to get one up on the battleaxe of a receptionist and have at least gotten a phone appt. Not for two weeks mind. Hugs Mrs A.
