A little shine

First I want to thank all of you for your uplifting messages. What a wonderful community stampers are. So supportive and kind. I want to feel better and hearing from everyone helps. I'm just tired of politics, tired of storms rolling through day and night, tired of coughing and tired of being tired! Okay I'm done.

I made a card. My youngest granddaughter is graduating from Esthetician School Saturday so I used my new Magnetic embossing folder from SSS and their Holographic paper for a card front. The Celebrate is from Altenew cut from Anna Griffin foil paper. It was hard to get a good picture of the card so I hope you can see it. It is so overcast and that doesn't help. The celebrate matches the purple color at the top left but the camera doesn't like to show that!

Do not sit on the floor without a definite plan to get back up.

I will add this card to NBUS

Be kind to one another.

I thought you were taking a little break Brenda, but was getting a bit worried. Then I seen you finally posted card before this (the 7 Group post) so I was happy to see that! I know what you mean, I'm tired of politics too, so thus why the TV rarely is on anymore. Don't want to see the news, it's to depressing. I'm tired of the smoke filled air and low air quality. Glad we finally got rain, but I know y'all have been getting lots of storms. We are getting some here, but my neck of the woods isn't getting many. Just gentle rain for the most part thankfully. Like you, I am tired of being tired too! LOL It's a vicious cycle! On the good news, your card looks amazing!!! I love that holographic paper and embossing folder. I have not clue what a magnetic embossing folder is though. But I know I love your gorgeous card! Hugs, Brenda

Gorgeous card. I love the look of the holographic paper. I'm with you on the politics thing, I haven't watched the news for years. I only watch HGTV. We did need some rain but the storms with lightning and thunder are a bit much in the middle of the night. Boy am I with you on the getting on the floor thing! LOL! I am glad you are able to craft a bit.

Your card is just stunning! I think we can probably all agree that the news and weather is just depressing for all of us, and happiness isn't as bountiful as it once was, but we can still make cards and still amuse ourselves with little jokes, so it's not a total loss! I hope you feel better soon, but I can relate with everything you're dealing with, especially NOT getting on the floor anymore! LOL Take care!

What a great card for your granddaughter, love the colours! I need to learn that….have a plan to get up! As for politics etc, don’t watch or listen, drives me mad so I’d much rather ignore them until something better comes along! Keep resting, smiling and crafting xxx

I think we should start a group up. I'm tired of being tired too. Tired of going to bed tired and waking up more tired than if I had stayed awake. Love the effect on your card. I bet that really shimmers in the flesh so to speak. Hugs Mrs A.

What a perfect card for Olivia! Bright and shiny and full of color and life! She will treasure it! I hope you get several days of relief from the storms. Nothing is more depressing and debilitating than day-after-day of clouds and storms. Let the sun shine! And I like your advice about the floor! That could be a new Lifeline commercial, "Help, I've sat on my floor and I can't get up!" Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

Such a vibrant and beautiful card! I hope that you are doing a little better each day. I can’t believe how bad the smoke got here in the Midwest for a while. We even saw it down into southern Illinois a few weeks ago.
