I often wonder if people in Australia call the rest of the world "up over".

Double stamping on vellum
This is a technique I've been wanting to try so I made into a Christmas card. I stamped green trees on the backside of vellum, then stamped and white embossed trees on the front. I love the look it gives and thought it would be a pretty scene outside the window. Now, why I added the trees on the inside of the house is truly beyond me. It was one of those "what was I thinking" moments. Not to mention they aren't evenly applied. Rest assured, I do not have trees growing inside my home in front of the window. I'm starting to think I may have Covid brain between this and the potato.

Love the look of your trees inside and out. We do have christmas trees inside so yours are just not at the decorated stage!! hope you have a lovely Christmas. Hugs Mrs A.
This is so sweet, Brenda. LOVE the depth of the tree outside the window. You can tell the green trees are behind the white one. We all have trees inside our houses this time of year. You need to add a few decorations. :) xx
You're fine, Brenda. To me the inside trees look like a small windowsill Christmas decoration, not like real trees. But, oh my, no matter what's where, you did a fantastic job with this technique and both the snowy and green trees outside in their snowbanks look amazing! Well done! (You remind me that I still haven't tried this myself.) As for your query, I always wondered that, too! Hugs, Darnell
trees on both side of the window are perfect for Christmas, we have our little tree in exactly that position. Great to catch up on zoom this week. Have a wonderful Christmas and hope your feeling better soon ♥
Love your card, that technique is on my to do list, and the little trees look like a window sill decoration. Tell that covid brain to go down under or up over, and have a peaceful Christmas and happy, crafty new year. Xxx
Those trees through the window look amazing and I love the different colors! As for the trees inside, many folks decorate with mini trees through the house, so why not on a windowsill? It's a beautiful card and I wish you a very merry, happy and healthy Christmas!
Yur card is so pretty. Looking out from the inside is the way I would want to enjoy that winter scene. I think the trees inside are just windowsill decorations. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy Crafty New Year,
A beautiful card, Brenda! What a lovely window scene with the trees, so pretty! It looks like a fun technique! Yes, we have trees inside at this time of the year. I have one large one in the living room. And, a small one in the dining room and family room. My only wish is for the cat to keep his paws off of them, lol! May you have a blessed Christmas and a joyous new year, hugs!!
I think you were thinking you'd decorate your windowsill with some little Christmas trees, Brenda! A great way to use this technique!
Beautiful card, Brenda. I still need to try this technique, on my list for next year. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Creative 2023. xx
Never heard of that technique & oh my goodness--it's beautiful!
