So sad

My heart hurts for our country. I never thought I would ever see our country in such chaos. The virus and the unrest and uncertainly just causes such pain for all of us.

My heart also hurts for my son and daughter in law. They lost one of their beloved dogs (my granddog). The whole family went to the vet where he had to be put to sleep because of tumors bleeding in his lungs. They all laid on the floor with him and it just brought back those memories of me doing that with Molly. I made this card for them. I used a Scrapping for Less paw print stencil and a die cut dog from my friend, Brenda. I added a shiny red heart from Doodlebug. The verse is from Papertrey Ink.

I have been cleaning out closets and purging. One more to go. I'll be back soon and catch up with everyone's blog. I'm missing you all. Right now I'm hoping the rain will hold off and the launch is a go.  Hopefully I'll be watching it
.

Be kind to one another.

Oh I am so sorry for your loss and for your son's family, too. I know how hard it is to lose our four legged family members. Your card is perfect and the sentiment is lovely. And as for the country...there are no words, I simply do NOT understand people.
I am glad that you are safe and feeling well! Heart Hugs, Brenda!

So sorry for the loss of your family's beloved pet Brenda, it is so hard saying goodbye to them. Your card is sure to bring some comfort, I love the little red heart and sentiment. I have seen the brutal incident and subsequent riots on our news, it is mind boggling and I cannot understand how it can happen. Stay safe Brenda, Cathy x

Horrible time in America. Hard to have hope when so many people are showing that they don't have good hearts. Of course, it isn't the majority, but a few can ruin things for so many. So, so sorry for your son & his family. The loss of a furbaby leaves a hole in one's heart, but so worth having their love in our lives. Perfect card to give them. Good for you getting things cleared out. I look at the mess & go back to crafting!

I'm so sorry for another loss in your family, my dear friend. It's been such a hard year. I hope and pray is will get better, but it seems like it gets worse. After three years of "making America great again" it seems to be getting worse. Lots worse! Scary times. We need to keep faith that God is in charge and He will see us through. Love your card, BTW. That is the sweetest dog!

So very sorry for the loss of their dog Brenda. Just very sad because they become a wonderful part of our life and it's so hard to lose one.
Scary times right now no matter how you look at it. Guess all we can do is to think positive and hope for the best.

I'm so sorry that your family has lost another important and beloved fur baby. It is very sad and combined with what's happening outside the door, it's very depressing. I'm glad you are purging and finding ways to distract yourself. Life always has a way of righting itself and we can't let a few anarchists give those who want to peacefully protest a bad name. They are easy to spot by their burning and looting. Don't get me started! I have taken a deep breath, scrolled back up, and been calmed by your sweet sympathy card. It is perfect, Brenda! They will get a lot of comfort from it and I hope you did, too, while you were making it. Sending lots of love and hugs! Darnell

Hi Brenda,
so sorry for the loss of your families dog.
I remember when my son lost his 2 it was like a piece of their hearts was riped out.
He always has 2 dogs at one time and soon after replaced them both.
Now these are getting older too and are 9years old.
Love your card and the design is brillliant and will be appreciated I'm sure.
Great idea the heart is too.
MY Son loved his card.
ON another note so sad for all the riots that are going on I hate to see such unrest.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Yes, definitely sad times that we are all going through. I pray for better times. I know our country can do better. And, so sorry to hear about the loss of your son's dog. Your sentiment on your wonderful card is perfect. Our pets certainly leaves paw prints on our hearts! Your thoughtful card will be appreciated! And, good for you on purging. It is definitely something I need to do not only in my craft room, but several rooms, lol! Take good care and have a good week, hugs!!

So sorry for your family. It is hard to lose a family pet. And, yes, the chaos is terrible and I am very concerned for my family that live it West St. Paul. I pray they will be okay. So sorry for that man's family too.

I'm watching on TV what is going on in your country and I have to say, I'm sad too. I'm thinking of you and of all nice people living in the USA.

Lovely card for a sad occasion.
I lost a friend last Friday due to cancer. Her funeral is this Thursday and with this pandemic, it’s too risky to go and pay my respect. But I will make a card to give to her hubby.

It's heartbreaking to lose a beloved dog or pet, and your card will be cherished for years to come. I still have all the cards we got when our dogs left us, so this will surely mean a lot. Love that tiny red heart on the dog - what a perfect little touch!

It is certainly a sad time in our country. I pray that this time will be different and black lives will matter, that the bad police will be dealt with as not all police are like them-but a few bad apples really make everyone else look bad. It is also so very sad when we lose a beloved pet as you well know Brenda. I'm so sorry that you, your son and family lost a beloved pet. It is so hard for sure. I held my little Pockets girl too when I had to put her down. I just was happy to be able to be there for her the way she was always there for me. Your card turned out so well, I hope it brings some comfort to your son and his family. Big hugs my friend, Brenda
