Hope you're sitting down

because I'm posting another card! Whoo hoo.  I wanted to play in the CAS Christmas Challenge and this is my first Christmas card this year. I used a Tonic die and colored it with Copics. The frame and sentiment are Penny Black and the berries are shiny with glossy accents.

For those who came to the retreat in October I'm sad to announce that Papertrix n Nashville is now closed and looking for a buyer. I have been worried about them because their store is so small. It would be so hard to social distance in there. I am sad for them and hate to see it go.

Be safe, my friends.

Be kind to one another.

What a sweet CAS card and a welcome surprise to see a 2nd post from you already! Happy dancing for you for sure :) Sorry about the closing of your favorite store, but unfortunately we're going to see a lot more of that in the future too it seems. Take care, stay safe

Wow friend, I had to go back several blog posts to catch up with you. I am glad that you feel you are back in control and have your mojo, your card for CAS Christmas is perfect and so CAS!! Thank you for joining us, but wait this is your FIRST Christmas card of the year? You better get crackin, friend!! Now, I am so sorry this is taking a toll on you...I am reading a little post it note here on my computer while I type and it says: "Patience is NOT the ability to wait; It's the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting". Joyce Meyer...I know it can get a little (a LOT) unnerving with all these rules and especially NOT going out and NOT seeing family, so I am taking it as time for ME! I am in the Word more than ever before, daily! I am praying while I walk and I try to do about an hour a day, I know that is NOT possible for you, but the praying part is what gets me out the door, by myself, just with my Higher Power, you know Him well! so the stress is kind of off me to run errands or do this or do that, it is just go slow, take care of me (and of curse it goes without saying, the DH!!)and just relax. I don't have to be in a hurry to do anything, even stamping! BTW, you toilet paper card is adorable...and I made 4 cards with the mask that you shared on your blog, my friends that it was the cat's meow...the cleverest thing they had seen and it gave them a chuckle to boot!! Mission accomplished! thank you for sharing these tidbits with us, it helps us get through each day and also it helps us to connect with those we can't see normally! God Bless you my friend! Heart Hugs!

Love these bright, shiny berries with the soft green of the stems and frame, Brenda! Good going! Now you need to keep going and get that stash built up. I'm glad you are feeling more like stamping. So sorry your store has closed. There are so few craft stores anymore :-( Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!

That was an amazing store, packed to the ceiling with goodies. I'm sorry for the owners and hope they can find a buyer to leave it as a stamp store, but you're right, Brenda, they would have to only let one person at a time inside because it's so tiny. It's very sad how many charming tourist areas and small towns across the country will be forever changed by Covid. But in good news, your berry Christmas card is fresh and shiny with those pretty glossified winter berries! Love the curvy frame! Keep on crafting and keeping safe!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo

Love your bright and shiny red berries with the soft green stems and framing. Wonderful CAS design Brenda! Sorry to hear your local craft store is closing. I'm sure there is much heartache for a lot of small businesses that couldn't make it through this long pandemic. Hope they are able to find a buyer. xx

This is fabulous Brenda, a super CAS design.
It's such a shame that some of the smaller stores are closing.

Way to break the ice with your first Christmas card of the year! It’s so lovely and those shiny berries just pop! Thanks for joining at CAS Christmas.

I feel your pain. All our local stamp retailers closed years ago.
