I'm always wanting to use my pattern paper but never seem to do it. There are so many fun ways to make a background that I didn't know about when I started stamping and pattern paper was the way to go. So, of course, in the manner of stampers everywhere I accumulated 43,000 sheets of it. That is a rough estimate - there is probably much more than that. I digress. When I saw this paper in my stash I immediately knew the arrows would match the metal arrows I have from Tim Holtz. Talk about a simple card! The gray hearts are a die from Simon Says Stamp and I glued on the arrow with glue dots and I'm done. I want to send this card to Maj Bill White, a Marine veteran that Darnell told us about. Stunning, Brenda!! I love this card, and I'm sure the Major will too. Gorgeous blue, and those arrows fit the theme of Valentine perfectly. LOVE that arrow! Much like you, I have a billion sheets of patterned paper. I try to use it fairly often, but don't always think of it or have the 'right' sheet. Yours looks incredible. xo Bev

I struggle with pattern paper Brenda, but I am loving how you used this wonderful pattern paper! I love it! The arrow matches the paper perfectly and I love the hearts die. But what I love the most is that you didn't make this the traditional red or pink Valentine. Now I've got to go see what this is all about over at Auntie's! Hugs, Brenda
Wow--brilliant way to use that paper, Brenda! I know the veteran will love getting it! Guess it's time to mail my card to him so it isn't late. The last envelope I sent under 200 miles took over a week to get there!
What perfect patterned paper for your card, Brenda! It's also so wonderfully masculine for the Major. Let's see, that's one less sheet of paper in your stash, right? Oh, wait, now its leftovers mean more pieces in the scrap box!
