The cold front is moving across the midwest this week and it is so cold everywhere. The only good thing that comes of that is the water is so nice and cold right out of the tap. No ice cubes needed.
This was one of the techniques I shared at the retreat last month. Very simple to do and a fun result. I used a Stampin' Up embossing folder and ink, then with gold embossing powder. The thankful die is Reverse Confetti and the embellishment is a Bo Bunny laser chipboard. This is called Faux Patina and you can see a video by mynnette kitchen on You Tube.

It is cold Brenda! I just am not ready for the cold. lol But you are right, the water out the tap is nice and cold. This card is beautiful my friend! I love how beautiful the patina is on it, will have to go watch how to do this. I need to learn that other technique that you taught too. Or was it this one?! I don't know, but I am loving the look. This is so gorgeous and wonderfully designed. I had not heard of faux patina before. But the look is amazing! I don't own a lot of the supplies however so most likely I won't use it. I am trying to limit my spending as my SS check is not covering as much as before.
This is so elegant and classy looking. Getting very cold here too. The butter doesn’t need to be kept in the fridge either!! Raining at the moment so staying indoors and catching up with everyone’s blogs. Alas it is too wet to make it down the garden to the summerhouse. Hugs Mrs A.

You are definitely the technique queen! lol This is beautiful! This weekend was pretty nice. Larry was able to get the leaves raked. Not sure what Monday and Tuesday will bring when the cold front hits. Stay warm!
