Heat is the word of the day

Not just here, but everywhere. Please take care in this extreme heat wave we are having.

These are my cards for the https://twofercardchallenge.blogspot.com/ with Garden as the prompt. I don't know the name of the stamp set the bird bath came from but the flowers on both sides are from Judith.  The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday. The second card is the Judith stamp with a frame from Hero Arts and butterfly from Martha Stewart.  That is a Stampin' Up sentiment.

Kara knew the bird bath stamp. It is "For the Birds" by Inkadinkado. Thanks, Kara.

Be kind to one another.

Lovely cards, Brenda! I especially like the first one--great background & such a sweet little scene! I've been checking your weather & being so thankful I'm not there--yet!

I’m so relieved we are not dealing with a heat wave here... take care and stay cool.
Terrific twofers, Brenda. Love how you used the flowers to enhance your adorable bird bath scene. x

I hope you stay in and that this brutal heat wave doesn't last long. The paper this morning showed a map of the entire US in shades of dark yellow to dark red for heat everywhere, but the middle and eastern half of the country are getting it the worst so take care!

Your beautiful watercolored birdbath scene makes me feel cooler just looking at it! That sky is gorgeous! And I love your CASlicious second design! The black framing around your flower panel and butterfly adds drama and elegance to the beautiful design and lovely sentiment! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #18! Hugs, Darnell

I thought we've had it hot in the UK recently, but it's nothing compared to the temperatures in the US! Hope you get some relief from the heat soon.

Your two cards are beautiful, Brenda, perfect for the Twofer Challenge. xx

Your cards are beautiful, Brenda! Your bird bath is from the set "For the Birds" by Inkadinkado. I love how you used it with the flowers to create a garden scene! The flower, butterfly, and sentiment are a lovely trio on your second card! I feel so spoiled living with air conditioning. My dad grew up in Southern Illinois without electricity. That heat is one of the reasons we live in Wisconsin now.

I love the brid bath one it's so tweet and very summery.
Te sediments as Darnell would say are such lovely ones as well.

Your delightful flower garden with the bird bath is absolutely charming, Brenda ... lovely colouring and such a sweet scene to go with that fabulous sentiment! Your second card is cool, stylish and understated with the blooms framed in black ... the tiny butterfly is a lovely finishing touch! We too have been melting our way through a heatwave ... a couple of days of respite at the moment ... another one forecast from tomorrow! Hope you're staying cool! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)

I think the heat and humidity is affecting our internet but I hope I get this done before it quits again to let you know I love your cards. Have a great weekend.

OH Brenda, I love your twofers. They are perfect for the garden challenge. The birdbath with the pretty flowers around it is so serene. I can feel the sun shinning down on me and hear the birds singing. I love the sentiment too, to cute. Your second card is so pretty and again, I can feel the summer breezes as well as hearing the birds singing in the summer time. The sentiment is perfect and so true. Hugs, Brenda

These are such pretty twofers and I really like the summery colors on both. I hope you're staying cool out there - my son lives in your state and he's here in PA now on vacation where the temps are 110 and 115 tomorrow! Yikes! I'm staying indoors for a few days and praying my a/c keeps working :)

These little flowers are so delicate and pretty, Brenda! I love how they fit around the birdbath all colored up! They are just as lovely with the simplicity of the black outline on the colored card and sweet sentiment. Stay cool.

Beautiful cards, Brenda. That birdbath would fit perfectly in my back garden, too! It looks like those flowers were part of the birdbath set - they were made for each other! Really wonderful backgrounds and sentiments, too. I owe you an email, and as soon as I have a few more minutes and can get DH settled, I will sit down and write. Thank you so much for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Sending hugs. xoxo Bev
