Heat - Continued from Thursday

I would like to welcome a new follower. Her name is Trina and that is not a very good picture of her, but I'm so glad you're here.

It is too hot to do anything. I was showered and dressed and ready to go out yesterday. I opened the door to let Molly out and decided that was not a good plan. So I made a card to play in https://caswatercolour.blogspot.com/. The first half of the month was to celebrate Darnell. The second half of the month is to celebrate Bonnie.

This is a Stampin' Up stamp water colored with Tombo markers smooshed on my craft mat, then picked up with a waterbrush. The orange circle is a die from Penny Black and the sentiment is Avery Elle. I splattered some orange ink around the die cut. It is there, I'm just not good at splatters because I'm afraid to make blotches. (is that a word?)

Happy birthday, Bonnie.

I stamped, water colored, used a die cut and splattered.

Be kind to one another.

I think you opted for the best possible plan to stay indoors in this heat, and look at the pretty birthday card that resulted! Well done! Stay cool :)

Hi Brenda,
well your getting the hot weather while we in the UK are finding it a lot cooler for July, but hot weather predicted for next week.
Not good as I am looking after my Grandchildren on Tuesday and my Great Granddaughters on Wednesday.
The Great Granddaughters love to use up my crafty stash.

Love your fab card to celebate Bonnies Birthday.
You take care in that heat and I think it was a good idea to not go out too.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Wise decision to stay inside and out of the extreme heat. We have cooled down here now and it sure is a relief. I slept so well with the cooler temps. And, I love that card you made. Beautiful coloring on the floral design and a great card layout.

I am so glad you didn't go out Brenda, let this heat wave break before venturing out. Your card is simply beautiful Brenda. I love the stamp set you used, you doesn't love flowers in bottles and jars? Your splatters look great my friend and you should do them more often. That's the beauty of splatters, they are unpredictable and so natural. At least to me. Great watercoloring too! Hugs, Brenda

I think it was good decision to stay at home and create this beautiful card for Bonnie. :-)
There is also a heat wave (already third or forth this summer) at me. One and only reasonable activity is to stay in climatized place and do nothing. :-)
Have a nice week!
Hugs, Sonja

Haha, yes, blotches is a word. It looks like a made-up one though, doesn't it?! I hear you. That's why I take a photo of my card, then schplatter away. And, ahem, dang good thing I did a coupla times, too, so the worry is REAL, people! No fear of blotches on this beautifully and gently splattered bouquet for sweet Bonnie! I love your coloring and how you did your circle framing! Bonnie will be delighted!! Hugs, Darnell
