One last card I got to make from the online card class. I wish I had more time this week because there are several more things I want to do, especially the new marbling technique from Laura Bassen. But, life does interfere so I will try them hopefully next week.

This card was my first attempt to use gilding flakes. I used a scalloped stamp and added sticky powder then mashed on flakes. Then took a stencil brush and brushed it off. More flaked off than I wanted but I do love the effect. I should have used a smaller stamp so I could add this sentiment but I didn't know what sentiment I was going to use before I flaked so Duh. I will make another card with gilding flakes and get better at it. Go to go to the garage. I hope that I can work out there because the wind today is blowing so hard here. Will have to work with the garage door closed. Be kind to one another.

What a perfect sentiment for all that shimmer and shine Brenda! I love those gilding flakes. Only worked with them one time and that was years ago, but did love it. And I so love your card too my friend. Can't wait to see what else you make from this class! Just a gentle breeze here today for once. lol But hotter than a firecracker today, tomorrow and Friday-almost 90. Then back to the 70's for the weekend. Hugs, Brenda

Wonderful sentiment to go with the sparkle on your card design.

I really should take the class just so I'd use my gilding flakes which I've had for many years! Looks beautiful, Brenda!
