I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. Our family did and it was so nice to have them all here for the day. I'm posting the card I made for my granddaughter today. It is a Lawn Fawn chick and egg die cut in felt with black sequins for eyes. The paper is also Lawn Fawn  and the scallop die is Simon Says Stamp. The sentiment is SU.

I am off today to find a new mattress. I would love to have one that inclines the head so I could read in bed. I do read in bed now only sitting over the side. That would be the lap of luxury for me. My mattress now may be contributing to my sore shoulder. It does feel better since the shot so I'm hoping that is taken care of.  Be kind to one another.

Super cute card and design! Glad you had a good holiday. We had our kids and their families for dinner and an egg hunt. It was a good day.

Absolutely darling card, Brenda! I love the scalloped edge & the beautiful plaid is the perfect background for the felt chickie--love it! Good luck with the mattress shopping--worth spending a little more to get what you want! Glad your shoulder is better. Bet your DILs were thrilled with the succulents! Hugs, Greta

Oh this is darling! Love the happy colors, and the bright yellow felt (those eyes just pop out too). The scallop swirl border really shines in the design. Good luck with the raised headboard. We nearly got one of those (a Sleep No. one I think). The saleslady got too pushy, and was wanting to order way too many extra things that we 'just had to have', so she ended up losing the sale! TFS & good luck with the sore shoulder.

I so want a mattress like that too Brenda as I read in bed a lot too. I hope you get one and that it helps with your shoulder!! Your card is just darling and I can bet your granddaughter loved it too! We had a good Easter here too, so happy to hear that your family did as well. Hugs my friend, Brenda

I'm glad your Easter was wonderful! I'll bet your granddaughter loved her little felt chick, Brenda! It's adorable! I just bought some of that - okay, a lot of that - Lawn Fawn plaid paper, too. The colors are so pretty. Good luck finding a mattress that will incline for you. It makes good sense to me! And I'm so glad to hear that the shot seems to have helped your shoulder! Lots of hugs, Darnell
