We have gone from extremely warm to extremely cold! Luckily no snow or heavy rain for this time of  year so I count us grateful.  I got all my errands done this past week and now want to concentrate on getting the house in order, tree up and presents wrapped. Today I do NOT plan to get in the car for anything. I feel like I'm spent the last two months in the car.

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the comments, prayers, phone calls and beautiful cards I've received during this sad time. It has truly touched my heart and I am so lucky to have you as my friends. I have some new ladies in the UK that I want to visit after the holidays that were sweet enough to send me good wishes as well. Our time is precious right now with Christmas right around the corner and none of us are spending as much time on the computer as usual so that makes it so much more special that you would come by.

I will be getting Christmas cards out but they are old ones I made when I was starting out or from SU classes and they will most likely be late. But I want you to know I'm thinking of you. This picture is of a plant I received from a dear friend who did not know hubby had passed. She felt so bad that she wasn't there. It was delivered from the florist and it is a three foot tall calla lily. It's kinda of big! Also another card for you. Be kind to one another.

Gorgeous card, such a lovely design.

It seems to be getting warmer where we are in the UK. The heating has been off all day!

You are often in thoughts, Brenda. xx

The Cala lily looks lovely. We had a red one for a number of years which just kept on flowering and flowering. Love your pretty bauble card. Thinking of you and big hugs go out to you. Glad Elf and his antics have made you smile. I'm going to miss him when he goes home on 24th. Hugs Mrs A.

What a lovely plant, and so kind of your friend to think of you. I'm glad you are able to stay inside, cozy & warm, and not have to be out running errands. Love your pretty ornament card, and I'm glad you feel the support from your Blog friends. My prayers are that you & your family manage to enjoy some part of Christmas & have a bit of joy, even though I know you are sad. Thinking of you...Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and best wishes that 2016 will be all that you need it to be. TFS & Hugs.

I do think you should use that beautiful plant for your Christmas tree, Brenda! It's a beauty and so is your ornament card! If you made that a few years back, it's still perfectly relevant today and anyone would be so happy to receive it from you! You take care and be kind to yourself! Enjoy those grands who always make us smile, no matter what!! Love and hugs, Darnell

A beautiful plant! I was given one when my dad died 6 years ago & even though I don't have a green thumb it's still beautiful & blooms twice a yr I think. It's blooming right now in the dining room which is actually the craft room. It's special to me & I hope yours will be for you. I keep thinking about you & wish you & your family peace. A gorgeous Christmas card, Brenda!

I am so deeply sorry for your loss Brenda.
(and sorry for being late in expressing my condolences to you)
If/when you have time and if you feel so inclined I would love to send you a card...I would just need your postal address.
Your Christmas card is beautiful.
Please know that I keep you and your family in my thoughts
xx

Wow, that's one gorgeous Christmas card Brenda! Loving how you did the baubles and the design is just perfection!

Are you sure that plant isn't a triffid? It's a real beauty but I'd keep a close eye on it Brenda in case it suddenly starts to move around of its own accord :) A few pieces of sparkly tinsel might keep it happy.

Hugs
