We have a day of sunshine but a very cold wind blowing. Tomorrow is predicted to have thunderstorms and a tornado warning! That's what you get when it warms up in Indiana. Today is a running day. We need food again! Food, clean clothes and money. Just our regular routine. Cleaned house yesterday and our son stopped by for lunch. That was a nice surprise. He tries to drop in when he has appointments on our side of town.  So I'd better get busy, fix lunch and get going.  This card was for our next door neighbor who turned 83 yesterday. He is the nicest man and so good with plants and his yard. Our grass is taken care of as well as snow removal but he cuts his own grass and sometimes shovels the snow! Be kind to one another.

Here's hoping you don't see any tornados you way. Nice card, I like the way you do the bow, I can never seem to get my bows to lay properly. Stay warm.

Very pretty card Brenda! I love the color combo and I love the embossing. How nice that your son stopped by for lunch!! We had some nice days too with much warmer temps. Boy did it feel good. Today however we had a freezing rain this morning then the sun came out and warmed up the day very nice. Started going to a walk with hubby and it started to drip rain. Kept walking and then we saw a flash of lighting and a thunder boom. We headed back for home, thank goodness we weren't to far up the road. But that was it, one flash and one thunder and a few rain drops. The sun came back out and was beautiful until dark. I sure hope you don't get any tornadoes!!! Hugs, Brenda

I just caught up on your blog since Friday..I was in San Francisco watching my granddaughter play in a volleyball tournament...so much fun to watch the grandkids, and I read that you watched your grandson play BB..aren't we blessed to be able to watch them? I sure hope spring comes early for you, I think enough is enough! I am so glad you get time to craft and use that as your stress reliever! Gorgeous card, love the colors! Loved the pic of your husband, bless his heart!

Great card for your super healthy neighbor, Brenda! I'm so glad that you got a day with sun and without snow, but yikes, now tornadoes?! Never a dull day weather-wise, that's for sure!! Hugs, Darnell

Such a pretty card for your kind & generous neighbor. You are lucky to have him look after you. He will appreciate this beautiful card made especially for him. Love that your ribbon design matches the background on the fancy sentiment, and your background paper is so very subtle & lovely & nice color with the navy blue. Hope you didn't get the tornado either! TFS & Hugs
